1) see /o/

>only have 1k
Get a bicycle

civic or miata

If you want the thinkpad of cars you can’t do better than a crown Vic

Meant to be easily serviced

07-12 Toyota Camry or corolla

@OP
laptops translate better to bicycles
a desktop would be a car
I recommend a Trek singletrack

Use public transport.

i live in a rural area. there are no buses here

Public transport isn't for niggers. Also its not really a thing in my area.

This.

Why are people in such a rush to pay $2,000 - $3,000 a year in car insurance + thousands more on gas/repair/maintenance when you could be paying like $100 worth of uber/lyft/bus rides each month instead?

>i need a car that runs and i only have 1k
buy a bike

>V8
He didn't say $1000 a month

not everyone's a lonely loser with nowhere to go like you

Getting a Scooter is your true answer.

Its exclusively for niggers

You really do over estimate the price of owning a car
Your standard shitbox commuter would be at most $50 a month for basic insurance, cars are such appliances now you don't need much maintenance outside of oil, if shit does break there is always the junkyard

Panthers get really good gas millage for their displacement, take it easy and you can get 23-25 MPG. It's a rather small understressed V8 with really long gearing

Take the train.

The car community is toxic trash

chevy cavalier

Toyota Camry.

Honda Civic
They run pretty much indefinitely and are cheap to repair.

Volkswagen Bug

car insurance is like $800/year. Are you driving a Porsche or something?

Anything with a chevy 350.
Loads of chinker aftermarket parts and the crate design is used for over 40 years. (going from metal to aluminum)

Super easy to mod (can be converted full mechanical with carb or full EFI tuner hacking) and also it's a V8 that will cook any 4/6 cyl ricebox.

I mean Iron to alum. So parts are compatible still still.

Old iron ones are worth to bore and beef up.
Alum are worth daily drivers because they are lighter.

Thinkpad is a Volvo 240
Raspberry pi is a Lada

camry, corolla, or civic

The Ford Falcon is possibly the most based and freedompilled car of all time.
It was used by Argentine soldiers to hunt down and kill commies on the 70s and 80s.

And now it kills V8s on the 1/4 mile. Based Falcon.

Holden's Commodore line
>VT == T60
>VX/VY == T420
>VZ == T430
>VE == T440p and above

Just got this for $2k. Runs like a dream, it's nice having electric windows and memory seats

honda civic boy

this, I had a two door cavalier 98 and the thing was so easy to repair whenever it broke which was on very rare ocasions plus no one would even care stealing it or anything

Because you literally can't for safety reasons at night in some parts of the city.

>what is the raspberry pi or thinkpad of cars?
Toyota Corolla/Camry early 90's late 80's, Acura Legend/T/TL, etc, Honda Civic (make sure it's not a ricer), a Ford Focus (must have a manual transmission), Ford Crown Victoria and the associated Lincoln and Mercury rebadges.

Even used those still go for a good 6-8k.

The /o/ sticky is really outdated.

1980s-early 90s Mercedes-Benz 300D. Turbo diesel tank of a car that's a piece of piss to work on and parts are easy as shit to find because they're still the go-to taxi in a lot of 3rd world countries. It's not uncommon to see a million mile 300D before it needs a new motor. The ONLY problem is the climate control system is shit and a bitch to fix so you're kinda better off just living without heat/ac and using a fan or heater that plugs into the cigarette lighter if you live in a mild area.

I want to sniff her feet.

>50 dollars for insurance
In Toronto, insurance for a 23 year old is over 600 dollars a month.

This. Decommissioned Crown Vics have been saturated with puke, shit, piss, blood, and semen, just like the typical used Thinkpad you buy. Furthermore, just like a Thinkpad covered in stickers, everybody will think you're a fucking tool if they see you with one in public.

volvo or subaru if you know where to look

Mk2 golf, from an owner over 60.
