My computer is own built x86-64, I compiled my OS to push the FPS to the limit, and now I think the last bottleneck is my monitor.
I don’t want to use any legacy cruft, compat layers or multilib, but even Ubuntu want to drop the 32 bit support.
So recommend me some good display with 64 bit support, I don’t want to loose any performance.

Bump because no answer yet.

most displays only support up to 24bits, high end ones up to 30bits
did you know that when you set your computer to "32bit colour", it's really just 24bit, with 8bits just left unused, because it's easier for a computer to work with 32bit numbers than 24bit numbers?

I don’t care how hard or easy to deal with bits, I just want a native solution!

well too bad! there's no 64bit monitors
not that'd it'd matter, it won't be any faster

What you need is a CRT screen, with a BNC or other similar RF rated connector and coaxial cable. A regular VGA cable lets background noise interfere with the finer details in the display signal, so even with a good CRT you're still only getting 26 bits of actual color.

But what if I use golden plated hdmi cable?

>HDMI
Not gonna make it.

I didn't really understand any of this post but this is basically "muh legacy cruft" retards in a nutshell.

I just want to fucking enjoy a pure 64 bit system, what is your problem?

bait

Do you also use a 64-bit PCIe bus?

OP is a retard confirmed

Of course. PCI-X.

you know that there are 144 bit monitors out, right?

But how you convert Hz to bits?

Don't forget to get 64-bit gaming headphones. Using 32-bit headphones will make your computer slower.

WHY ????

I have no port like this. Does the new nv cards have this?

no, it's old
