Is there any fix to ripped pleather, or is it inevitable?

my dad has some shit from when he was in the air force in nam.

Try drinking bleach

I wonder how tight a girl like that is.

That looks uncomfortable as fuck. What's it like to wear?

kind of lean towards open but am fine with anything

irrelevant to me, never had a problem with any headphones

just nothing too bright

currently have the ATH-M40x for my laptop and the DT880 600 ohm for my desktop

I was looking at the DT 1990 but only because I currently have beyerdynamic. would $500+ headphones require me to upgrade my amp/dac? I'm fine with that, I'd say I could go about $1000-$1200 for the full setup

Attached: Kr5yVmt.jpg (4608x3456, 874K)

pretty good for on-ears, band doesn't clamp too hard, overall weight is fine (heavier than they look thanx to all the wire in 2000 ohm drivers)

Klipsch Heritage HP-3

Are the Sony WH-1000MX3's any good? I hear you can't connect two devices at a time to it.

I'd go with the DT1990 Pro. Has the potential to be the only headphone you'll ever need. I believe the O2 is more than adequate to drive them.

They have the best noise cancelling on the market significantly better than the QC35ii if this is what you value above all else then yes they are good.

Noise cancelling and sound quality is what I'm most concerned about. Any other headphones you think I should look for based on those qualities?

Buy Stax

for me its zmf atticus

I archive flac for anons and friends on a private server, but I almost exclusively go out and listen to normie source on my devices, rarely higher than 192k

Yes.

I'd enjoy a pair of in-ear buds for being able to lay on my side sometimes if possible. Hard to find a pair that fits though :( For phones, I don't want to know I'm wearing it. Background noise is almost non-existent.

Better than a doctor's

I had some entry level Sennheiser once. Got entry level headphones. I have no loyalty to anyone yet.

I also play bass guitar, 1/4" adapter would be dope for solo sessions.

Stax

Can someone recommend me a good cheap amp/dac for the DT 770 Pro 80 ohm that I can use on the road, or even better some headphone instead of the DT 770 that have good portability but also good sound quality?
I don't want to buy two pair of headphones(one for outdoor and one indoor) for now and I'm thinking of making some compromise and get one pair and an amp/dac to fulfill both roles, what would you recommend under 200 euros.

Just tried the DT 770 pro 32 ohm without amp and they sound nice but I feel like it's not enough sound quality wise.
Will upgrading to the 80 ohm version and buying an amp make a big difference?

Stax

fuck off shill

Have Stax

How much money can you be making off of this for it to be worth it I really wonder.

My exact reaction when I got my Superlux.

What’s listening with this evening, user?

I can't decide how much money I actually want to spend on this shit.

>RME ADI-2 DAC and just be done with it.
>Topping D70 w/ THX AAA 789
>Musical Fidelity V90-DAC w/ some amp
>Topping D50 w/ JDS Atom

I seriously considered the DX7s but the high output impedance would potentially limit it.

I'll be driving T50RP, E-MU Teak / TH-X00 Ebony (depending if the E-MU with Ebony and detachable cables go on sale again), and maybe a pair of HD800S or LCD-2 or something else after I sell my extra motorcycle.

akg k702s my dudes

This thing seems really nice, and all the extra DSP options and EQ are a selling point, but I don't know if the overall higher QC / functionality is worth that much over equal or better measuring chifi.

But they look so ugly :(

Pretty comfy, great sounding headphones. They were my first decent ones.

Get an iFi Black Label and be done for life.
These just eat anything you throw at them.

the only stax worth considering

Is discord down or something

can't go wrong with any of the suggestions

Are you guys still arguing about stax?

1970s Stax

yeah

There's no argument, only shills.

Correct. There is no argument anymore. The debate ended a long time ago. It's clear now that STAX is endgame summit fidelity.

best bluetooth IEMs/headphones that can be worn while exercising?

this buy stax

Which are these?

Best bassy headphones for 100$ or less?

philips fidelio

No

Just get the atom with the D30/D50.
You won't need a more powerful amp/dac for quite a long time. The Atom is powerful enough for like 99% of headphones. And every single Topping dac (D10-D70) has good enough decoding that there will be no hearable difference to even the most expensive dacs out there, every difference is placebo. It's measured and the differences are inaudible. The only reason to get more expensive ones like the D50/D70 is for their features, like remote control or connectivity

They don't look ugly at all. I love mine

Same here. What a great pair of headphones for 120 euros

Fostex

Attached: fo sex.jpg (500x500, 29K)

get a TR-x00
shits god-like fun-tier. I have purplehearts.

You know user you probably would have gotten with her if you had stax

si doctor.

For some reason I feel like buying a cheap chink tube amp and plugging my planars into it

I just spent an hour soldering a new volume potentiometer on my OTL. I'm back in the game baby! tubes all the way

Attached: 0016 - HAHvjzM.png (870x870, 71K)

not ideal as you wouldnt be putting out much power to them but if they're efficient planars fuck it why not?

Uhh I guess I'll give the MIAOLAI M8 (nobsound?) a go with my chinkfimans he4xx

what are good synthwave headphones?
for something like this: youtube.com/watch?v=5ZKfpyhC0cE

If I get one of those gay new phones without a 3.5mm jack, what's the best way to connect a pair of wired in ears to it?

get a mobile dac/amp combo to connect via USB. Look at Fiio offerings

Dongle dacs like Hidiz Sonata and VE Odyssey or a BT module like the ES100.

SHP9500 vs HD58x
Can't decide. Is the 58x worth the price increase? Leaning towards the Philips cause im poor

The extra $60 is well worth it desu

stax

>Is the 58x worth the price increase?
absolutely yes

58X/6XX/600 sound beautiful without eq, ship95K requires eq

Broke fag here with around 200 dollars in price range. How are the Beyerdynamics in terms of headphones? I'm mostly going to use it predominately for gaming. I was looking at the 770 and 990.

What are these?

Attached: IMG_20190628_131231.jpg (3264x2448, 1.34M)

HD598/599, Beyers are not good for games

Competitive FPS: Imaging > soundstage
Casual RPGs: soundstage > imaging
Beyers for casual
HD58X/6XX for comp

Stop being poor and get the 58X

the DT990 is one of the best gaming headphones you can buy. I'd EQ the treble peak down for music though.

are you niggers trolling?

>HD58X/6XX for comp
I own these and there's no way I'd recommend them for competition lmao

I didn't recommend HD58X/6XX you dunce. I recommended the HD598/9.
Do not listen to or

>Beyers are not good for games

yeah i'm gonna need you to elaborate chief

all these spergs who don't make music or dj lol

headphones

DT770s are closed, DT880s have poor positional accuracy, DT990s are fine for games but I'd still consider the HD598/9 better due to its superior positional accuracy.

Your music is shit snowflake

Just buy Stax

Does the dust cover count as buying stax?

I'm thinking about buying a headphone amplifier for my desktop. I have a Sennheiser 599. Anyway, is Fiio E10K a good choice? Or do I spend an extra $50 for the Fiio E17K? I'm not an audiophile by any means, but the headphone coming straight out of the computer just doesn't do it for me. Needs more oomph.

Why is comfort so bad on so many headphones? How is this shit acceptable?

neither, JDS Labs Atom

get open headphoens for gaming. senns are perfect for gaming, good natural balance
unless you are half deaf footsteps junkie, then get beyers, beyer ear rape is good for that

> fostex sound nice
> but are built like dogshit
I had the thx00 PH, the goddamn things lasted about 4 months until I gently set them down once and the fucking hinge mechanism cracked and fell apart.
That whole "metal" piece is made of zinc or some bullshit chinesium.
Do not buy that series of fostex unless you like broken headphones. Seriously dogshit engineering and material choice.

I replaced mine with LCD2 Closed Back. Sound awesome, hinges are built from steel. They sound awesome. They're heavy so you'll build up neck muscles too. kek.
