Wrong. Linux computers are almost universally more expensive than Windows computers even without the Windows license cost. This is purely because economics of scale though. 0.001% of customers requesting their Dell XPS with Udindu requires someone actually taking a pre-imaged Windows computer and manually wiping it and installing Udindu. That's why they cost more.

Windows 10 was given for free even to people with pirated copies of 7 and 8, and yet people are still using Linux. Therefore, the cost of a license is not the reason why people choose to use Linux.
