You'll miss Intel when they're gone.

no way a 12 core beating intels 18 core in both single and multi

They're not gonna be gone anytime soon, they're just gonna have a few uncomfortable years. AMD had those years with FX. Intel themselves had those years with Netburst. Everyone has those years.

Can it be that AMDs multithreading architecture is less dependent on software optimization than Intel's?

9920X is 12 cores, no one said 12 core Zen 2 is beating 9980XE. It's on par with it, however.

Also ARM is a greater thread to both Intel's and AMDs established x86 architectures than AMD and Intel are to each other.

>the link
literally says it beats the 18 core

It doesn't, you dumb fuck. It says it beats/makes 9920X obsolete and is "as fast as 9980XE". Being "as fast as" is NOT beating, performance-wise. However, yes, it DOES beat them both when all aspects are combined together (pricing, power envelope, features, and etc).

Can somebody post a real 9900k benchmark? Stock on air cooling plox.

ARM will never replace desktop and HEDT server tho
ARM is good for small stuff like laptops, phones and pads, not for high performance

*desktops, HEDT/Workstations and servers

you dumb. ARM is objectively better and x86 servers will be dead in 5 years due to energy costs alone

>servers will be dead in 5 years
>due to energy costs alone
>calls others dumb

>HEDT performance at mainstream desktop platform price
I cannot express how ready my body is
