Who's ready for AMDrones tears when independent benchmarks will be released for Zen2?

Remember when Jow Forums thought this was real?

a) I'm convinced this illegal propaganda of fake leaks is done directly by AMD. It's too consistent and repetitive for the past few years.
b) Why the fuck do people even take sides?
All big 3 of the PC market (AMD, Intel and NVIDIA) are on duopolies. AMD and Intel hog the x86_64 patents and AMD and NVIDIA hog the GPU patents.
The only reason they aren't all fucked by antitrust laws is because they're all american.
If there was true competition $400 CPUs would be $149 and $1,000 GPUs would be $249.

It's gonna be hilarious with all the shilling they did

AMDrones do this shit every time and never learn, this isn't new this has been going on for the last 15 years.

amazon is for brainlets shill.
also why the fuck are you shills of any of those companies anyway?
they are fucking patent hoggers.
the only reason nvidia, intel and amd aren't fucked by antitrust laws is that they're all american.

I haven't bought a CPU in many years corporate shill.
Again, why the fuck do you take sides in the first place brainlet?
All big 3 of the PC market are a fucking cartel. The only reason they are allowed to exist is that they enjoy american government protection. If one of them was not american they would be dead by antitrust laws and embargos with all their patent hogging and cartel practices.

how is mindshare not real? people bought nvidia when AMD was better

amd fag here, it is undeniable that people are circlejerking the everliving fuck out of zen 2. Its also undeniable that they're still behind intel by ~10% in single core performance. However they're so close now that it doesnt matter for most people out there.
My haswell i5 has enough IPC for what I do, but it doesn't have enough fucking threads at all. Buying a 3600 and a mobo and ram will cost me more than just getting a 4770k, but at least by investing into AM4 I can upgrade later on to zen 3 or even a 3950x will be pretty good if AMD drops AM4 after this.
Some of the amd shill fags are going to have their hearts torn in half when zen 2 drops and it turns out AMD doesn't beat intel in single core. But these people are the same retards anyways who believed the ignoredtv leaks and actually thought amd was going to do 16 cores at 5ghz for $500.

>3.6 GHz
They're not even trying anymore.

Is it worth upgrading from a Xeon E3-1231v3 to 3700x/3800x?
Landon Barnes
nah
Ryan Peterson
wow, 30ns difference. Fugging nothing if you ask me.
Even without latency, is the upgrade still worth it?
Jayden Sullivan
>twice the latency
>Fugging nothing
bruh

Enjoy the security flaws.

Until you show that RAM latency translates to input latency it's fucking nothing.
Joshua Martinez
That adds up if you have a random read to a database sitting in RAM every millisecond. What are you using the xeon for?
Alexander Turner
>until you prove that latency translates to latency it's fucking nothing
I don't even know what to tell you retards anymore.
Camden Carter
learn to read you shill
what makes you feel the need to upgrade? How is your xeon holding you back?
Ryder Gonzalez
it doesn't, I'm just curious if an upgrade is worth it. I sometimes render animations with After Effects and play gaymes such as Apex Legends on 1440p.
Henry Bell
whoops reply was actually for
Xavier Ortiz
You could start with admitting you have no fucking idea how any of this works. Operating system alone adds 6 orders of magnitude more latency. Bigger caches by design also add more latency, yet they reduce the number of RAM accesses so the net result is better performance. Increasing the number of cores without NUMA(which also adds latency) doesn't scale either, something you'll learn soon when Intel adopts it.
