Torrent Clients

My ancient copy of uTorrent 2.2.1 (before uTorrent became pozzed) cannot handle files over 1TB in size, and I need a torrent file that is nearly 2TB in size.

What torrent client does Jow Forums use?

btpd

/thread

I tried rtorrent but I was too retarded to configure it / couldn't be bothered to read documentation, so I stuck with transmission which I already had working
is rtorrent shit or good, torrentbros?

BiglyBT

The successor to original Azureus project before it switched to Vuze and became shit.

Used Azureus for literally 10 years and BiglyBT is just as good

tixati

>tixati
>closed source torrent client
lmao no

transmission-remote-cli is really great and comfy. Found out about it in a video from everyone's favorite boomer Linux youtuber

transmission with its daemon mode is beautiful, you can access it through the terminal and also has a http client. it's great and extremely customizable, you don't need anything better.

has a gtk3 frontend as well if you're a footfag.

I was just about to try and torrent Sony Vegas, but man there be some shifty downloads.

>multiple cracks for different versions uploaded by the same guy
>all exactly the same data size at 27mb and the descriptions are all the same
>then there's other ones by different people that vary from 500-550mb.
>the 500mb ones look more legit, but have less than 100 seeds while the 27mb uploads are all at 6000

I noped out of there. Was on TPB BTW.

Transmission, there's basically no reason to use anything else

Together with ruTorrent its a great system for seed boxes.

Yeah TPB mirrors have virus downloads.
Stick to the 500-1gb ones and you’re good.

Also it’s Magix Vegas now, Sony sold it. Any Sony Vegas torrents are old versions. Just order by date uploaded and pick the latest version. I use the one uploaded by BabuPC or whatever his name is, some pajeet.

on Windows I use FDM.
on linux I use transmission-qt since I use plasma.

rtorrent + rutorrent on dedicated torrent machine
transmission on others.

deluge

Picotorrent. Simple and lightweight

utorrent is a lot faster for me and doesn't have any ads or other dogshite

The answer is always Qbitorrent, despite its flaws.
