Rip navi

Rip prices

Navi is DOA Lmao

Attached: untitled-36.png (712x902, 55K)

Damn bros, i thought id get btfo for buying a 2060 by this new 2060 super. Looks like only 2070 owners got btfo

>16GB VRAM card BTFO by 8GB

Your point?

Attached: relative-performance_1920-1080 (1).png (500x890, 47K)

AMD are fucking done. The 2060 Super is as fast as the 5700 XT whilst being cheaper. The 2070 Super is way faster for the same money. Not to mention faster than Radeon VII too for significantly less.

Just pull out of the GPU market, AMD. It's getting embarrassing.

tfw i was right except for the 1080 part. Even down to the "I don't know why 2070 exists." When should I start my youtube channel bros?

>'new' 2060
>15% price increase
>17% performance increase
???

The rendering is slightly artifacted.

Attached: quality.jpg (1280x720, 52K)

2080 >= RTX 2070 SUPER >= 1080

would consider a 2070 SUPER if the price would've been better.
399€ please

I just bought a fucking 1080ti last November on Jow Forums's advice, fuck you Jow Forums

Attached: 1556652209864.png (522x561, 444K)

you mean when none of this shit was even speculated to be out and all of it matches the 1080ti with the 2070 super onwards beating it by 5%+? retard

2070 is getting discontinued so it doesn't actually exist anymore

I bought a 1070ti for 400€ on november

Attached: 157.jpg (803x688, 104K)

RTX was already out, why would you ever buy previous nvidia gen?

Really want a 2070 Super under 200mm for a mini itx case.

How long does it take them to start making their own boards and custom coolers?

2060 was a worse pick back then

getting a 2070 super and will gave my radeon vii to my bro.

So 2060 or 2060 super?

2060 didnt come out until 2019 numbnuts

>>RTX 2070 Super = Radeon VII/1080ti
It is much cheaper than Radeon VII. topkek

>falling for the 8gb is enough in 2019 meme

then Navi is 100% DOA.

dummy

What will the actual prices for super be? I dont trust the MSRP

2060 S = $399
2070 S = $499

Regular 2060 is going for 370€ minimum here in my EU shithole, i'm gonna guess 450€ for 2060 super, we're gonna get super jewed

I am curious about your shithole. name? Poland?

These prices don't include VAT
Burgers don't actually pay 399 or 499 but a bit more.

Close, Portugal

>bought a gtx680 when it was first released because it was a supposedly huge jump from Fermi fires of series 500-era
>the Crysis of graphics cards for years to come
>charts like these stopped showing it relatively soon after
>finally get a gtx980ti because of a flash black Friday sale on amazon
>thiswilllastmeforyearstocome.fgt
>figured it'd be a workhorse card for years to come, like the Crysis of graphics cards again
>it's completely non-existent from all these carts
Cant I just get the 2500k of graphics cards to see these comparison charts for once please?

Great, new gpu's.

Wtf, those prices. Fuck it. Where are my mid-range gpus? 250 max! Were we spoiled in the past??

Pc illiterate here. Can I get a simple rundown on those cards? Will probably make a new pc buy the end of the year, so do these new cards change anything in regards to wanting to play at 4K 60 or will the 2080ti still be the best for that?

Look at benchmarks, retard. As for 4k, yes 2080Ti is still best.

Navi is super DOA, you can't even pre-order it 5 days before launch. The only reason i can think AMD are doing this is because they'll have a pre-launch price cut.

The absolute worst time to buy a graphics card is right before a new console generation.

>All those 6800/7800GT owners without unified shaders
>All those GTX580/680 owners with gimped DX12 and scheduler

Now it's going to be the RTX owners with garbage raytracing performance once graphics quality makes another leap. The sweet spot is always ~2 years into the generation when you get stuff like the 8800GT and RX480.

we have to thank amd for this, now we have better options since there is a little competition

Are you in the right thread dude?

I think the next node shrink (2100 series) will be the 2500k gpu generation.

I may get the 2070S. That thing looks sexy and is way cheaper than a 1080ti, let alone Radeon 5700XT. AMD is doing amazing with CPUs right now but their GPU department is fucking ridiculous.

>he doesnt believe in navi20

Attached: 52.png (500x322, 42K)

Attached: 1561833084770.jpg (720x750, 74K)

He likely only paid ~$150 for getting the performance earlier. This retard would be happier if GPU technology and price to performance advancement stagnated.

I have an RX 580. What would be a good upgrade? The 2070 S looks like a really good deal to me but I'm also an idiot.

What resolution and referesh rate do you want to do?

I don't with these terrible prices. Just going to wait on GPU chiplets to bring prices down at this point.

1080p, 144hz

The 2070S is the first Nvidia GPU I've considered ever since the 970 (before 3.5GB cuckoldry), but I got a Vega 56 a few months ago. If you can snag a V56 for less than $300, then that's a decent deal/ The 2070S is just about the only RTX card that makes sense and it's still stupidly priced.

Navi is DOA unless they cut prices before release.

I currently has a 2060 at 1080p 144hz and perfect. 2070s is more of a 100fps+ 1440p card. Its gonna be pretty overkill at 1080p. Max i would buy for 1080p is a 2060s and in not sure its worth the money unless you are worried about vram, which i am not at 1080p

Not really DOA just beaten to the punch again. Those small dies could be sold for $250 and $320 respectively but AMD went full fucking retard knowing Super was coming and revealed awful prices.

Attached: dumb speedposters.png (888x1263, 303K)

970 was based you really missed out.

>not buying used 1080ti for $500, with a warranty
based retard

I sure missed out on false advertisement and a lawsuit!

Who gives a fuck it was a good card

Good, AMD deserves this for pricing their GPU's like a bunch of jews.

AMD RTG is unironically BTFO.

I got a EVGA 2080 XC Ultra for $600 last week that I haven't opened; think that's worth returning in exchange for a 2070 super? I'll be playing 1440p @ 144hz, or perhaps at 4k for games like Civ.

All they had to do was not being greedy jews and drop their stupid prices. Fuck AMD now nobody is going to buy their overpriced shit and Nvidia will be able to screw us over for the next decades. Watch a mid range GPU become $800.

where do you find those ?

I plan to upgrade to 1440p within the next 6 months. Should I just get the 2070 S since I'm going to be upping resolution? Also, I want my minimum frames to be at least 80fps. Right now I have a 2700x (getting a 3900x in a couple weeks) so CPU aside, I'm leaning toward the 2070 S.

These really suck, they're gay refreshes and we're getting kiked like there's no tomorrow

Attached: 1111.jpg (362x611, 17K)

heh, i bought a 1070 non ti for 380euros. beat that.

>techpowerup.com/review/nvidia-geforce-rtx-2060-super/27.html

thanks for posting the links my dude, dog bless your soul and keep your FPS above 60 at all times

Attached: 602b705064.jpg (485x463, 53K)

Sure 2070s is really nice for 1440p. Also id just keep the 2700x its not gonna bottleneck you.

Wait 5900 XT!

>FPS above 60
Nvitards

All the people who bought 2070 and 2080 lol.

>lol people bought graphics cards last year and now there are faster cards
>sure makes those guys look silly, doesn't it?

meh i just bought 1080ti for the price of i7 9700k idk if it was worth

any actual non jewish reviews?

>4K
4k monitors are literally a meme

If you mean November 2017 then congrats, you hit the value bullseye.

the shills trying to shill that it's better just means it's gonna be close but 5% worse

They already are $800. By all metrics the rtx 2080 is a mid range GPU. In a truly competitive market it would be a $300 card.

If you can get it to not crash, catch fire or die after 3months.

Poorfag

buy a 1660

THANK YOU BASED NVIDIA

I have an unopened 2080 I bought for $595 that I can still get a full refund for.
For a 144hz 1440p setup, should I return it and get a 2070 super instead? Since the 2080 was 16% more expensive for about 7% better performance.

Attached: tpoxyqjyu8v21.jpg (750x660, 32K)

>implying AMD doesnt have Navi14 waiting in the wings for this exact scenario

I thought we knew there was a smaller Navi? Those are the true Polaris replacements at least in terms of pricing.

The 2070 super is a better value, but it's not quite as fast.

navi20 is full fat navi, out next year.
navi10 is the 5700s.

Why would navi14 be smaller navi?

Guess I'll be staying at 1080p for the next couple of years then. When do you think they'll release a card capable of high fps 1440p that isn't absolutely bank-busting?

>ITS BETTER THAN THE RADEON VII!!!
Except the tuning is infinitely better if you aren't a noob and I can mine ETH at 90+ mh/s when I'm not gaming. If Nvidia had something like that I'd probably steer that way, until then I'm not paying 1500 for a 2080ti.

I'm glad there is potentially a stronger gaming GPU for less money though, any progress is good progress.

>10% performance increase for 10% price increase is 'good progress'
Hi shill

Attached: 1554873596886.jpg (500x602, 41K)

Because of previous naming schemes? Don't ask me, ask those fuckers at RTG.

Good, fuck Navi and fuck AMD for pricing a 250mm^2 GPU at $450.

>it’s great because I can turn $1 of electricity into $0.80 of Monopoly money

my VII is still faster in newer gaymes
why is shitforce only better in older titles where you can already get 150fps+?

Attached: 2070_RVII.png (1359x1203, 59K)

>monopoly money
Opinion discarded.

It's better than having it stay the same. Ideally we would have gotten the $300 Navi that beats 2070 and $200 Navi that beat 2060, but that didn't happen.

I'm not buying any of them either way, I have an R7 for my main rig and 1660ti, 980ti, 750ti, 1080, 1070, v56, and v64 in other machines or on the shelf. Only way I'd be buying would be if they were just leaps and bounds ahead of what I have already for less or equal money and that's not the case. My 50th R7 was $700 and I sold the games and shirt on Ebay so it ended up being a $590 card in the end.

Overpriced+housefire

so what about 2080 super benchmarks ?

The newest game on that list is Metro Exodus tard

buying a 290x in 2013 would have been fine.
