>State budget & CURRENCY
>Post at least some attempt at a parts list
>List your uses, e.g. Gaming, Video Editing, VM Work
>For monitors, include purpose (e.g., photoediting, gaming) and graphics card pairing (if applicable)
CPUs based on current pricing:
>Athlon 200GE - HTPC, web browsing, bare minimum gaming (can be OC'd on most mobos with the right BIOS)
>i5 9400F/9600k - Great gaming CPUs
>i7 9700K - Extreme solution for absolute max FPS
>i9 9900K - VM Work / Streaming / Video editing
>i9 7980XE - HEDT
Zen2 CPUs already confirmed by AMD to be worse in gaming than the cheaper equivalent Intel. Only consider them if you care about multithreaded stuff.
RAM:
>Always choose at least a two stick kit; 2x 8GB is recommended
>CPUs benefit from high speed RAM; 3200CL16 is ideal
>AMD B and X chipsets and Intel Z chipsets support XMP
Graphics cards based on current pricing:
>Used cards can be had for a steal; inquire about warranty
1080p
>GTX 1660/ti - standard
>RTX 2060/Super - high framerates (requires complementary intel CPU and monitor)
1440p
>RTX 2060 Super - standard
>RTX 2070 Super - high framerates (requires complementary CPU and monitor)
2160p (4K)
>RTX 2080 Super - standard
>RTX 2080Ti
General:
>Always avoid AMD if gaming
>PLAN YOUR BUILD AROUND YOUR MONITOR IF GAMING
>Don't bother buying a new monitor for gaming unless it's high refresh with adaptive sync
>A 256GB or larger SSD is almost mandatory; consider m.2 form factor
>Bottleneck checkers are worthless

Has anyone done a proper X570 roundup yet?
I've watched Buildzoid's videos but I'm not going to do anything with liquid nitrogen, so it's not like they're applicable to your average Jow Forumssumer.

RRRRRRRRRrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Based.
Fuck AMD.

AMDrones BTFO

2600S v 5700
2070s v 5700 xt
place your bets

>intel just dropped there cpu prices again making 8700k 300$ and 9700k 320$
>25$ twice in a month
somethings going on either AMD was sandbagging hard and intels afraid or they somehow think this will keep profits and good will up with people

Here's X570 TLDR:
>shit
>overpriced
>overpriced shit

You're welcome.

No matter who wins, we lose.
The GPU market is fucked beyond belief.

Carrying over from the last thread, will the 2070 super cost the same as the 2070 on UK amazon? I was planning on buying a used 1080ti, but a new 2070, or 2070 super seems like the more sensible choice.

>X570
Who cares? Zen 2 still doesn't beat Intel's 2 year old offerings at 99% of daily tasks including gaming, and X570 is massively overpriced compared to X470 anyway.

You can reasonably call them overpriced but you cannot call them shit.

>chipset fan
>not shit

Its definitely afraid. Pentium g5400 is almost the same cost as the 200ge.

find out next month goy!

The fan only works in case of extreme overclocking. Doesn't spin otherwise.

How many cents do you get per post, dude?

Chipset fans used to be quite common

Amd == poozen. It's as simple as that.

AMD users shit in their own water supply that they swim in.

Attached: n0q8zxl1.png (660x339, 142K)

Wrong.

And they were shit back then, too.

might be, them dropping it another 25 on the week before zen 2 is a weird move

This is the only sane and rational opinion. Both are overpriced.

And here we have the amdrone damage control team starting to move goalposts.
They were shit and were gotten rid of more than ten years ago exactly because they were shit.

There are ones without a fan.

Super prices "leak" on geishalz

Attached: super2060.jpg (1678x269, 143K)

thanks to 20% VAT

so there is LITERALLY no reason not buy a Vega 56 right now, what the fuck

2070 super prices geishalz

Attached: super2070.jpg (1626x661, 194K)

>And they were shit back then, too.
Because all that came before now is considered shit.
I wouldn't say its a weird move. Its something common with automobile manufacturers. Intel adjusted (artificially) their reserves in the past but that was hubris. They don't have any pocket sand this time.

i messed up for 2070 super series, those are regular 2070 cards, but we can see which manufacturers are already added

I expect rog strix 2060 to be around 550eur if we're looking at these prices.

>2070 super is louder than a 2080
major bruh moment

yeh if super amp is 480 strix will prob be 530 or so

The Zotac 2060 Amp is €364 on Amazon so those prices seem pretty shit to me.

Just one so far, and it's one of the retardedly overpriced ones.
X570 is an overpriced housefire, deal with it.

Shill harder Ravij, Ryzen is still outselling Intel.

Attached: 1562096017285.png (1800x850, 221K)

>housefire
LOL
Plugging a zen 2 into a pre-x570 is the definition of a housefire.

for people wanting to get rog strix 2060 this is 20-50eur mora for a slightly better card
comparing to anything else yes, the price is messed up. For 520 eur I could get rog strix 2070 which performs better then 2060 super and will probably be better then 2060 rog strix (source my ass)

>Can get a Vega 56 for £270 brand new
Give me one good reason not to.

The price difference is over €100 but wasn't the recommended price only €50 more than the regular 2060?
