There isn't.
That's how the ink mafia works.

Brother. you can buy knock off cartridges from amazon dirt cheap. I even let my printer auto update and the cartridges still werk

Laser printer ink is extremely cheap.

Ink tank printers are also ok

One you get for free.
For example, that HP they sell in walmart with discount. Cartridges there have same 1 nanoliter of ink, as retail cartridges. Once you run out of it, you trash old printer and buy new one.

Boner lol

Here I did it for you

Just use the ink that the printer comes with and when it is used up return the printer for a refund. Rinse and repeat

Epson EcoTank series.
I have one and I printed 1000s of sheets, many with images, many animu girls and it's still good. That was just with the included ink and I still have some bottles left.
Refill bottles cost like 7$/color for me and so I'd say that's pretty good, especially since I've been going for maybe 2 years without refills.

2nd hand office laser printer.

Got one for 50 euro's with 3 toners (should last me >40 years), with build in scanner and duplexer.

>same 1 nanoliter of ink, as retail cartridges.

Are you sure?
Usually inkjets come with a "demo cartridge" containing less than 20% of a cartridge sold separately.

their newer models have the same toner-cartridge DRM that all the other makers do now. you have to find an older model somewhere that still takes older cartridges.

also I have no idea what to buy (other than a plain black-and-white-only printer) if you want something that doesn't put tiny yellow tracking dots on everything you print.

I have a brother and after not using it a while it reports the ink levels less. Fucking thing is programed for ink cartridge obsolescence.

just don't use a printer, there's no need to use one in 2019 and this century when there's internet, smartphones and cloud services.

Laser printers are more expensive but they last a lot longer and they're also a lot faster. Of course cheaper laser printers are black and white only and color ones can be quite a bit more expensive.
