Sometimes you're somewhere where there isn't a possibility of using wired networking. Maybe you don't like the look of long ass cables all over the floor. Maybe you can't be assed to drill a hole in the wall and pull a cable through there. It's not 2004 anymore when you only got 24 mbps wifi cards. Wifi is fast as fuck now.
