Price fixing

who cares the past few years have been redundant overkill as far as gaming

1440 and 4k are a meme designed to sell you cards you dont need

there’s no reason to spend more than $400 on a gpu

/thread

I'm still using my 8700K+, bought it release day. Any reason to upgrade it? If anything i;'ll upgrade my GPU since I've only got a 1060 and it's showing it's age.

Might buy the RTX 2060 SUPER.

why not wait to see Super 2080?

Nope no reason to upgrade the 8700 unless you're looking for minor improvements.

Intel is stuck on 14nm and Nvidia went with 12nm this gen. Die shrinks are the main reason performance and price improve over time.

there is, its called rtx 2070 super and im an amdrone.

Smh, I got a radeon HD 7950 and feel no need to upgrade

>seen one video about price fixing in the past
>completly different situation then and now
>hurr durr it must be price fixing
Lmao Jow Forums at it again

>What happened?
Ayymd releasing shit gpus for years basically.

Blame team red for being so shit that green and blue team can walk away releasing shit products.

>blame team red for the greediness of team blue and team green

Physics and economic realities have been catching up. The gravy train has been over for quite time and it is finally setting in.

ITT: idiots who don't understand how expensive it is develop a modern GPU architecture and manufacturing behind it.

Still waiting for 1080ti to cost sub-150 bucks

>regurgitating bullshit
>buying into kike memes
>unironic bootlicker
You have to go back >>>/reddit/

the 980 ti isn't even that price yet, you'll be waiting 10 years.

>got a 1080ti in 2017 under MSRP

buuuuuuuuuulshit

Nvidia carda don't fall in price no matter how shitty they are. Just look at 1050ti prices. Meanwhile you can get cards like r9 nano for pretty cheap. Nut even used 1080tis cost too much.

>using 1080ti prices from 2019 for the 2017 calculation
meh

>~30% faster GPU performance

Over the 1080Ti ? Certainly not.

>2014-2018
i7 4770k + GTX 780

>December 2018
2700X + 2080

>February 2019
Sold my 2700X and bought the 9700k, its garbage and holding back my 2080 and G-sync monitor.

Stop acting like spoiled children. The good times have been over since Kepler/Tahiti.

If you weren't half-blinded attention span-starved cheer-leading nitwits. You would have seen this coming from miles away.
