Just undervolt, overclock, flash the bios, hope you get a model with the right memory, sell the games on reddit and invest in industrial hearing protection. Sell your winter clothes as you won't need them anymore and its that easy, you are a moron for buying nvidia :)

>worse than vega 64
AMD really have bested themselves.

Glad i bought a 2060 at launch desu
Seething

>PC parts are now related to video games
you're selve

Nice cherry picks.

Nvidia really styled all over AMD with the 2070 super

The only good part about this is that they won't sell for jack shit at MSRP and will drop in price a lot over the next 6 months.

By black friday/christmas you'll be able to pick up a 5700 for a good price and then it will be worth it.

J-Just wait for...
...what was the gen after Navi supposed to be named anyway?

Frieza. Wait for Frieza to beat Super.

Fuck I just realized.

>AMD has a Gold Edition
>NVIDIA has Super

>Videogame benchmarks are now technology

>wojack posting

You have to go back.

Bloody hell, is the 2060 super basically a 1080, what's the price on those bad boys?

400

wonder how the 2080s will compare to the 2080ti

The 1080 is over 3 years old you mong and it retailed for $600. Getting a $400 card 3 years later to match it is fucking garbage and just goes to further show how stagnant everything has gotten.

Back in my day every year you'd get double the performance for the same price.

Hello newfag welcome to Jow Forums

Within 10% id imagine

My 2060 matches it and i got for for 350. Albiet it only has 6gb of vram but its fine

>Albiet it only has 6gb of vram but its fine

Yeah keep telling yourself that. Once the next gen consoles come out 8gb will be the absolute minimum.

You're going to hit a processing power wall before you hit a VRAM limit in practically every situation. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Is it only me or are the names on AMD cards confusing as hell. VII, Vega 64, 5700 XT.

>1440p

Attached: 1461151538623.jpg (717x685, 106K)

AMD's strategy has always been to create enough confusion so that some retard will buy one of their products.

Yeah ive had 3 gpus, vram was never the issue, performamce was. My 970 was still fine at 3.5gb.
Devs arent retarded and wont make 8gb required for a long whole because few people have 8gb cards. Zero games require more than 6gb currently at 1440p and i am still at 1080p 144hz

Why i bought and apu and a 6100 and why i hate them forever for exploiting my ignorance

Well, they are succeding very well. I cant tell whitch is premium or budget

This is actually important. It's so much more power efficient. Still worse than nvidia, but gap is much thinner.

Attached: AMD-Radeon-RX-5700-Power-Consumption.png (1180x1030, 59K)

What are driver updates.
Literally a few FPS difference for 50 bucks more on the RTX Pooper.

>RTX 2070 Super using more power than the 5700XT
I can't wait to undervolt this and make Nvidia look like shit.

Among all the types of AMDrone cope, "just wait for driver updates" is by far my favourite

I would hope so. 7nm was projected to be twice as efficient as 14nm...

>worth the weight
wut

Attached: kilogram-clipart-4.png (2400x1593, 135K)

Based. At least the cards are approaching sensible perf/W tbfh

How long until AMD starts to market these cards towards miners?

>tfw still 2.1GHz 1080 Ti master race
Only the 2080 Ti and 2080 Super can best it over two years later, and even the 2080 Ti only by 30% for a lot more money. One of the best graphics cards ever tbqh.

Attached: King.jpg (1273x661, 116K)

Not if you want decent cooling

>5700 STILL beats 2060 pooper
nice

Truly the master race.
Feels good man!

>mfw 2gb rx 460

Attached: 1511693843741.png (911x891, 43K)

With less CUs and better efficiency. But still, AMD fucked it up with the prices, these should have been replacements for the RX580/590.

yep, picked one up from a miner for $550 CAD at the start of this year. I put an AIO on it and it is nearly silent and completely stable at 2.05GHz. Not interested in a new card till there is one that can do 2x-2.5x this card.

>doraibaru aapugureido will make the cards great muhuhuhuhuh
Then where are NGG fastpath, primitive shaders and DSBR? It has been like 2 years and even at the point when Vega SKUs are starting to fade out I can't see any of them.

How much MH/s?

Best 768p card ever dude don't feel bad, buy a used 20 to 25 inch 768p monitor and enjoy.

On the contrary, I exclusively use a 9590 at 5.3Ghz with a 390X at 1350/1400 because it's cheaper than running the heater.

real questions is, why does a 175W novideo card eat power as much as a 225W card?

Attached: nvidiagetsdabbedon.jpg (1024x1661, 428K)

why wouldn't you overclock, flash the bios or sell the CD keys though? I flashes the buos on my 780 cause I got a way better overlclock at Nvidia's jewish planned obsolescence limit. And I once flashed a 6950 into a 6970. the fact that there is no soft voltage mod for Nvidia these days sucks dick.

Yes. The low end gpu was worth all of your seething :)

I laughed thanks user

t. amduser

Lol

proofs or rosy retrospection

No real question is why did AMD lie and present the 5700XT as kicking the 2070's ass when in reality it loses in most of the games to a FE card

Technically that's actually pretty good, given that these cards are like half the ALU count and die size. The only problem is the pricing.

>loses in most of the games to a FE card
proof

it's probably based on some light usage workload instead of actually playing a game

do you have an archive link to the full review?
I think the original link was benchmark.pl/testy_i_recenzje/amd-radeon-rx-5700-i-5700-xt-recenzja.html but the page was deleted.

TPD for heat cooling from GPU(graphic chip)
Board power include GPU,Memories,fans, PCB.
Total power consume PC, whole energy consume PC measure from power cord.

Pajeets still debugging new drivers.

Whats the point of buying a new GPU when all modern games are microtransaction riddled shitfests?

the 2070 is 16nm whereas the 5700 is 7mm and is still shit compared to the 2070

It should be almost 2x as power efficient or 2x as powerful

I played metro exodus not long ago it was good

>I heard something on the internets kids let me tell you how it is

user, 7nm only advantage is 25% clocks
do the transistor count. compare processes. Navi is smaller than 2070 even then. So the arch is fine, but as usual rushed, overpriced and drivers are shit. AMD tradition, curious to see gen 2 of this arch. GCN 1 was also a huge mess.

Tfw comfy 2060 founders. Protip, they're all sold out. ez A chip oc too

The 2070 us 12nm offically. Dont reply me with some bullshit about it not really being 12nm.

>a $450 Vega 64
*breathes in*

I hastily googled and saw that it was 16nm. I have no stake or hold stock in either company so I am not fanboying them. I am only seeing that despite the AMD card being on a supposedly superior technology they are on par or lacking in many cases compared to their NVIDIA counterparts. I would not recommend a RX 5700XT over a 2070 S

stop buying AAA titles nigger.

>buy high end gpu for the graphics
>good graphics are on AAA games
>dont buy AAA games for the microtransactions

wut

Exactly why I don't faggot.

Does AMD still struggle with any kind of AA? Annoying.

What exactly is TSSAA though? Is that some nvidia proprietary shit, because if so the benchmark is nil and void.

Do people still use AA in the age of 4k monitors? Even at 1200p I only ever use 2x or 4x msaa. I cant tell the difference at higher amount of anti aliasing.

at ~110dpi (1440p, 27"), aliasing is still noticeable, although way better than 1080p 24" aliasing.
I own a 4k 27" monitor (~165dpi) and aliasing is much less of an issue, but I cannot play on it as it is 60Hz

Funny how AMD still can’t beat the 1080Ti.

this isn't really surprise, because AMD still treats GPU dies as CPU dies. fucking big do it all calculation cores vs nvidia fuckton of small calculation units pretty much is what will always keep difference apparent. Other is that AMD is going for high yields with small die size, sure they beat intel when it comes to APUs, but they wont get on par performance wise if they continue this way. Honestly AMD CPU + Nvidia GPU still is best combo except for cryptoshit. Although Nvidia is also fucking retarded due turing is just overpriced shit and SUPER doesn't fix it at all with prices they put on them.

>LET ME PLUG AND PLAY MY CARD FOR SOME FORTNITE DAAAAAAD!

>you are a moron for buying nvidia
unironically true

Next couple of gens will be interesting. AMD might finally have some spare dosh to throw at RTG with Ryzen success and Nvidia is due switching to 7nm.

Literally the only thing wrong with Navi is pricing.
Maybe it'll come down when >300mm dies come out and/or Radeon VII and/or Polaris stock clears out.

even amdjeet shills are at loss of mental gymnastics

Looks like I'm buying a 3800x and 2070 super.
Tell me Jow Forums, is 3600 MHz RAM a meme? Is 3200 more than enough? This new build looks like it's going to be much more expensive than I expected.

>3600 MHz RAM a meme?
No as long you have a complementary Motherboard to go with it. Also it really depends on what you plan on doing. Gaming doesn't really need (atm) that much, 3200Mhz is the entry level.

>paying over 100$ for a GPU
>using a GPU with over 100 TDP
Lel. I'm buying RX 550 right now.

can it even play 4k vids

>4k
Useless meme. Even 1080p is shit on small screens. And I don't need a large screen for a PC.
