Opinion on monolith m1060s?

Hey I have a Roccat Cross (en.roccat.org/Headsets/Cross)
and whenever Im on Linux mint when I start up my computer all noises coming from the headset will be insanely static-y and so will my voice on my microphone. The static coming from the headphones eventually goes away after 1-5 minutes but the static from my microphone nevers goes away according to my friends. Any ideas?

Really good for the money. I'd argue the best for the price right now, but if you're inclined to mod it, I've heard good things about the M1060C when modded to become open backs.

what are some good headphones that only has 1 wire instead of two on each ear?

Beyer DT series

Buy Stax

what a wild world

Basically, at that price you'll want to be looking at Stax.
sr-007 + kgsshv would be my pick.

not sure if trolling

I'm not trolling, sr-007 are amazing but I'm not sure if electrostats are actually the best choice if you're new to this.
Maybe adx5000 + some comfy combo like ta-zh1es would be a safer option. Just pure neutral, reference sound and the best comfort you can get.
Btw, there are no wireless high end headphones.
Are you sure you want to just want to go blindly and straight for totl though? It kind of ruins the fun and at this price it's pretty much 100% personal preference so you're better off demoing and deciding yourself what you like.

I just bought these Sennheiser Momentum 2 for 99€.

Did I fuck up?

I'm new to higher quality headphones. Will I need an amp for these?

I mean your bait is good enough to make me reply, but still extremely poor quality

>higher quality headphones
>99 dollar Sennheiser
I am sorry to inform you that you just purchased a budget headphone and not "higher quality"

those headphones look good, I do actually want to stick with audio technica. any other recs on the dac?

Oh well, sure, it's obviously all relative. Are those any good for the price?

They used to go for over 250 last year.

i have hd1's which are probably same since they look like it, although they were $350 so hopefully not, but those cups are insanely shallow and hurt my ears because my ear is pressing right up against the driver housing, also the band is nearly solid plastic so it dents my fucking head after like 10 min of wearing and is painful, i have literally 4 layers of padding sewn on to it, the cup pads need to be filled with something to make the things stand off my ears. sometimes i reach a happy position where my ears arnt being crushed, but its random.

Turtlebeach Earforce Z60

If it helps, I'll be using it for gaming and audio/video editing, also I live in SEA
Forgive my formatting, first time posting on Jow Forums

lol forgot to say, they sound good, been using them and ie800s for mobile sound, although they are better then the hd1 because iem is better but shit i fucking hate the non removable cable of the ie800s, its removable way down at this half foot run of permanent cable.

also the hd1's cable is fragile and broke, and third party ones are really bad/ often dont fit, and inside the housing of the headphones there is a little plastic tab that holds the cable in, it broke on mine and the cable wouldnt stay in anymore, hotglued. cable i got was braided and only like 20 dollars, and an adapter from 2.5 to 3.5, then i sewed a fabric cover for it since the cable is really noisy plastic

thinking of buying the beyer t5p for portable use

thoughts? is there any other closed back also worth considering

open are autistic, just buy desktop speakers at that point

i already have good desktop speakers and im asking about closed backs

When will Schiit up their amp game? Magni 3 is getting pretty outdated when compared to the competition...

Built an Objective2 headphone amp to pair with my hd6xx. I like it.

Which setup is good for the DT 770 PRO (250 Ohm)?

I have the Asrock B450 Pro MOBO, so I will probably need an AMP, right?

I looked into the FiiO DACs because I heard they are good for the 770, but what exactly should I buy?

Also do I need anything else with it?

t. trapped in the mid to late 1990s

hdv820, ifi pro idsd at around the same price.
questyle cma twelve or cma400i for cheaper.

Any Beats in that pricerange

ikr, open back shit everywhere, hard to find a good closed set of the higher price range.

This, still waiting for those good closed headphones with detachable cable

Attached: 1561406191933.gif (640x480, 11K)

ikr, they got the closed back part down, but when they combine closed back and detachable cable, they get the cable part wrong everytime, but the closed back experience is of course the best and most superior to open back.

wtf is this shit

t5p gen2 has detachable cables

imagine buying shit for poor people who do not know how to spend their money

thanks for the advice, their sound is very CRISP.

>Both DAC and AMP more expensive than my fucking headphones
I AM getting memed.

Find a good deal on hd599

I can get a pair of SS-H771 speakers for just 20€. Wil these sound better than a pair of Logitech Z200?

Am I supposed to plug my headphone cable into "PHONE"?

I use Zishan Z1 with upgrade op amp with my DT770. Work with Windows 10.
Only recommend it if you really need cheap DAC/Amp.

HiFiMan HE5se is on sale for $269, down from $699. Anyone have experience with it? I recently bought the HD599 and was wondering if it's an upgrade or should I just stick with my new Sennheiser cans?

Are Poyatu earpads decent? I need some cheap earpads for my HD558, the original ones are falling apart.

So this is how much it's actually worth. I feel sorry for people buying chinkfiman at msrp, they always go to less than half the price in a year or two, while the rest of the headphones barely drop in price over the course of many years. Really makes you think.

I do understand we're talking for Budget-ish headphones but so far i see low quality cheap squeaky plastics, fake leather cushions that peel off after a few months of use.

Low build quality / cheap materials is the norm these days for Headphones?

Solid bass and nothing to harsh or fatiguing on the high end. Preferably more soundstage than my current m50s.
>Past headphones
ATH M50's, HyperX clouds,
I'm really after something more comfortable and more roomy than the m50. Those are my current monitoring headphones, I'm looking for something I can use out about and while relaxing at home.

should i get an amp for my HD518's ?
i'm just running them off of the integrated audio on my motherboard right now wondering if an amp would be better or not
willing to spend like 150bucks or so

I really like my superlux hd668b's, they're the only "decent" pair of headphones I have owned that weren't just no name budget headphones. I'm thinking about modding them, is it worth it? Is there really a noticeable difference in the sound you can get out of them or is it just autists making themselves feel superior by fucking around with their headphones in ways most people won't?

Same as always.
I do have well paying job now though. Maybe after i get a permanent place to live i'll upgrade.

I love these headphones.

someone please tell if the t5p g2 is a good purchase

I'm going to buy HD650 and give you my impression. Also which is better, 650 or 650s?

Attached: 91DfbUcd49L._SY550_.jpg (423x550, 25K)

650x

>650x
wat??

hd6xx because it's much cheaper for the same thing

There is no "650s". Do you mean 660s? Yes 660s is better.

660s might be garbage for me, 650s has a treble roll off

I mean't 650

Anyone else have Beyer's remorse?
I bought DT770 and the ear raping treble gives me headaches after ten minutes of listening to music.

Literally became a Beyerbro an hour ago when my DT 770 came in the mail. Testing them out. So far so good and they're very, very comfy.
