Genuine question: Does anyone care about fl on AB? Half a tracker is freeleech already and it's piss easy to get upload, not even mentioning BP. What's the big deal?
Cameron Bell
torrenleech if someone has been waiting.
Christopher Peterson

some people seem to struggle with the idea of ratio. for them it seems to be of great help. staff mentioned that even though ab is practically ratio-less, the swarm is healthy - when it stops being so, changes will be made.
Game groups that are related based on the fact they use the same Steam emulator and share cracks: CODXEX, SIMPLEX, PLAZA RELOADED, PROPHET, ALIAS, BAT, DOGE, NAPT SKIDROW, HOODLUM (lmao at skidrow mafia stealing another old amiga group name), UNLEASHED, TINYISO, DARKSIDERS
Only release unprotected GOG shit and some shitty games with Armadillo: Razor1911
Groups with actual skilled crackers: CPY, STEAMPUNKS (rip)
I wonder how many of these groups are the same people just under different names, CODEX groups are definitely the same people, PROPHET is a subgroup of RELOADED for multi releases just like PLAZA is for CODEX.

My Feral Hosting seedbox downloads at 400 Kb/s only from my Windows 7. But from Debian Jessie it downloads at 20 Mb/s like it should. This is using either the web interface of the FTP, or a SFTP client. What's the reason for this?

Any more news about the 4k WEB-DLs?
Ryder Barnes
It's real according to HDB
Ryan Gonzalez
But their cracks are kinda shit if you're in the know.
They patch the executable or recently use a .dll injected loader instead of making a keygen or removing the protection completely. Their method would get nuked if the scene actually gave a shit like they did in the past. I can't explain it better if you don't know any RE.
Xavier Roberts
YES!
Nathaniel Jones
You have to go back.
Chase Allen
right. my what was rhetorical. why you or anyone has a problem with the way codex makes denuvo titles playable is beyond me.
Daniel Long
They use Vmprotect on their cracks which is ironic because it's a DRM. That makes them not work on Wine. They also rely on exceptions which slows down the game compared to the uncracked copy.
Beyond all that, the scene has rules (some are unwritten) which were respected in the past and such releases were nuked. The fact that nukenets accept such subpar work nowadays clearly shows they're desperate to have anything at all and that the game scene is in decline.
Of course the pirates don't care as long as it runs but they just don't realize the sad state of the scene and that it may not last the next decade.

U mad bro? So sad that you're on the outside looking in. :(
what do i do when i run out of space on my seedbox and want to download more shit without messing up my ratio?
Carter Long
delete old shit??
Connor Jones
but won't that mean i'm now leeching the torrent whose content i deleted?
Jason Parker
>unironically being this dumb
Owen Carter
so the ratio doesn't go down until i download something again, is that it?
Jaxon Green
Yes
Lincoln Ortiz
ok then. the reason i'm asking is that my profile notes the number of torrents i'm currently seeding with a percentage next to it, currently at 100% presumably because i haven't removed any torrents yet. so if i continue to collect torrents and make room accordingly, the more I add, even if i'm always seeding whatever i have room for that percentage will gradually go down. my question is is it frowned upon to let that drop below a certain level
Xavier Reyes
First of all it would help to know what site you're talking about That 100% is not your ratio. It most likely refers to the fact that you downloaded the complete torrent, it's not gonna go down or affect your ratio if you delete it (provided you've seeded it for the required amount of time which varies between trackers) Some people like to be eternal seeders of everything they download, but deleting torrents you have no use for and have seeded enough already is perfectly fine.
Hudson Bailey
that is exactly what i wanted to know. thanks
Ryder James
you're comparing a time when harder-to-crack drms weren't around as much as today. steam-esque drms are still being churned out regularly. the scene is fine.
Luke Fisher
You can't leech if you aren't even torrenting, check the seed/leech rules of your tracker
Michael Lopez
that percentage is just for epeen

Hello.
Aiden Roberts

Brandon Foster
The PC SKIDROW was always a laughingstock of the scene, stealing cracks from cs.rin.ru, claiming they cracked something when they just used an unprotected .exe, patching replacing Securom online check with the DVD one and cracking that, accusing other groups of "emulation" when it's convenient for them.
Take this release as an example: xrel.to/game-nfo/1233488/Yesterday-Origins-Update-2-and-3-PROPER-SKIDROW.html It was one of the only Denuvo cracks they did because it was as easy as replacing a unity dll. They went to claim that CPY release was bad because theirs removed the protection completely, too bad they couldn't proper other CPY releases like that, huh? I wonder why.
I don't believe a thing SKIDROW fucks and their friends say.
William Barnes
give us some tokens RED REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

is there a music tracker better than orpheus out there? i mainly download hard to find stuff, like vinyl rips of soul/funk
Jayden Flores
Redacted has more stuff but it's much more difficult to maintain a good ratio, especially for newbies that are too lazy to contribute.
William Smith
Waffles is the best.
Parker Butler
difficult even with a seedbox? im on PTP, BTN, Orpheus do they have any sort of signup program going on?
Carson Rodriguez
I used to have a waffles account i bet they deleted it for inactivity, whats the url?
Jace Cooper
More difficult than on other trackers I guess but it helps. Using a seedbox is the cheap Jew's method, actually contributing by ripping and uploading content is the white man's method.
Daniel Richardson
>hey guys I want to rip/remove DRM from something I legally purchased >JUST DOWNLOAD IT FROM TORRENTS BRO
