zoomers are fucking disgusting.
absolute parasites.

god i wish that was me

>tfw bought 3200+ MHz RAM
>still haven't tried to figure out how to run it past 2100 MHz

you can OC in BIOS

zoomer here, fuck off nigger

Should I still buy ddr3 in 2k19? I don't want to buy a new mobo

>3600Mhz
why, I thought 3200 is sufficient for everything.

Are those GTX 1060s?

someone shop the minecraft toys into dragon dildos

it would be a shame if there was some sort of power failure in the factories and prices started soaring

Daily consumerist sheep thread.

boomer here, fuck off zoomer nigger

AMD themselves have said 3600 is the "sweet spot" for Ryzen.

Unless you buy a locked i5 that only reads up to 2666.

*high pitched voice*
Heeeeyyy it’s ya boy here

zoomer doomer faggot
>pic is u in few years

when/where

I'm still using ddr2 so i think you're good user

in that graph the latency is the same for 3200 14CL so what is this meme

Fuck you zoomer

Look on the left, it says "Recommended price/perf config: DDR4-3600 CL16"

Tf is a zoomer

that kid is absolutely fucked. blame the parents

the parents probably dont even remember the kid exists tho

Huh? Is your board limited to 2600mhz or something? And if it's not, the mhz is usually throttled in the bios you need to manually enable it.

>3 instances of minecraft open at once
what the FUCK did he mean by this?

Why does this image make faggots on this board so angry? Are you jealous because he has a bunch of GPUs and you don't because you're poor? I don't get it. He also probably posts here or will in the future

I tried increasing the MHz to 3600 or whatever the max is but then it crashes at the BIOS. The highest I could get to was about 2800 MHz but it still crashes after a few weeks. Is it supposed to be as simple as increasing the MHz? I remember doing a very quick search and it looked like I also had to set the right voltage, timing and a dozen other variables but actually figuring out what those values would be seemed like too much of a hassle so I haven't bothered yet.

fuck you zoomer, never post Osaka again.

guys shut the fuck up

you're not a special teen/twenty something yoomer doomer peepeepoomer

you're just fucking losers

But I just bought 64GB of DDR3. Did I fuck up?

yeah. who needs 64gb of anything

Shut up, OLD walking GARBAGE.

>4200+

What the fuck, since when was RAM this fast commercially available?

Highest bins sold are 4600 Cl18 or so.
4200 are definitely available, for a while now in fact.

Does it make a difference in gayming
I'm using 3200 and everything is quite good, I think it's a meme for gaming after 2800 or 3000 or so.

What are you, 12 years old?

i have 2 2666 sticks and if i turn on XMP it slows it down to 1066 and if i set it to 1333 it crashes and resets the bios. it also puts my cpu temp like ten degrees above what it is with XMP off (from 45 to 55) so i'm not sure if its a problem with it setting the voltage too high or the cheap ass MSI PC MATE motherboard i have

i tried on intel system with 4000mhz@CL12 basically not much a difference.

This is why you buy a RAM kit specifically listed in the qualified vendor list (QVL). You might be able to get it to run a little faster by tuning the settings and/or throwing a little more voltage at it, but you wouldn't have to go through the trouble if your shit was actually compatible.

>I think it's a meme for gaming after 2800 or 3000 or so.
Every benchmark I've seen shows a massive drop in performance gained above 3200. That's with AMD CPUs, Intel CPUs aren't impacted as much. I can't imagine buying 4200Mhz RAM being a cost effective choice relative to buying a faster CPU

>he still thinks tide pods are 'hip' and 'trendy'

Lucky me for getting 3200

>he didn't get ram that is compatible for his mobo
DUUUUDE You can normally download a pdf from the mobo manufacturer that lists all the ram chip models and hardware the board can use. If it isn't on that list it will very well have problems.
