That's right. It doesn't. Ever downloaded and tried that test of theirs? It doesn't exactly measure realworld performance. It does, of course, tell you something about a CPU relative to other CPUs. But that's just not the case when it comes to the Ryzen 5 3600.

Supposedly tested with a B450 motherboard, which is an interesting choice.

Anyway.. it's what, 2 days until launch? There will probably be 100+ systems on passmark one week from now and then it'll tell you something, but not much. as of now it doesn't really tell you anything at all.

This is one rather weird benchmark, the entire thing seems really odd and unreal.

I'm not familiar with Assassin's Creed, never played it. But that whole benchmark seems really strange to me. At 1280p any game should do 200+ FPS on a 1080ti regardless of what CPU it's ran on.

Probably to make it seem like what CPU you buy matters when you play games. It's plain obvious that games are, in fact, rendered by the GPU not the CPU when you benchmark at 1440p or 4K.

Assassins Creed is heavily CPU bound, there is too much happening in the screen and the world is huge, DX11 doesn't help on top of that.
