What else do you need?

>In principle, any combinatorial logic function can be realized with enough NAND gates.
nothing, I guess

but the same with nor gates?

Yes

Apply De Morgan and note that A nor A = not A. You can then reduce NOR to NAND.

>NAND gate = storage

Why don't you build something with only nand gates then?

True gamers only use Nor gates

balls

SRAM basically uses D flip flops, which can be made from NANDs.

You probably already know about this then

You can use NAND gates to make any sort of truth table but any practical circuit also needs delays and oscillation to do its job.

Pins for power supply.

A clock?

Nigga, what do you think SRAM is?

a way to save the white race and get rid of niggers, kikes and trannies

>not understanding that most SRAMs are made using arrays of 6T bitcells with peripheral circuitry

NOR and NOT

I took digital circuits on college, the norm is to implement NOR, NAND and NOT and simplify your circuits using only them.

Attached: jzJzE.png (600x205, 14K)

and what do you think those 6T put together form?

Technically nothing, but you'll get horrible performance since you'll be performing tasks like XOR in a very roundabout way.

I used to love this shit.

2 cross coupled inverters and 2 pass transistors

and how do you call an inverter and pass transistor, mmh? mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmh?

So this is what you learnt in the college. Nice.
It's true, you only need NAND or NOR.

not sure what you are implying. The truth table for an inverter and pass TX is essentially a tri-state inverter, but it is not that common to refer to it like that.

a clock could be made with capacitor. Look up Integral (integration?) circuit, circuit in which U/R is equal to current, is equal to rate of change of voltage*capacitance. Very interesting stuff

NAND gate by itself as posted by OP is not SRAM
by that logic you could every CPU ever made is NAND

In the old days before affordable microcontrollers I used to have a bunch of 4011 (4 NAND gates) ICs always in my drawer to implement whatever was necessary. As a bonus, western CMOS gates were pretty sensible to low current input, so you could use it to pick up very weak signals as well.

I say "western" because after the fall of the GDR, cheap eastern chips flooded the market for a short while. Did you learn about CMOS that they only draw current when a gate changes charge? Well, not the eastern ones, they drew 20 mA without even doing shit.

some sort of amplifiers, but not sure whats going on with them on this picture

>the eastern ones, they drew 20 mA without even doing shit
I have a bunch of 90s electronics with eastern logic ICs, can confirm.
I swear, most of the heat from my tape deck comes from the logic ICs.

no, those are AC/DC converters

>amplifiers
power supplies

One of my favourite logic ICs is CD4093. Quad NAND with schmitt trigger inputs. It can be used as a normal NAND gate, comparator, controllable oscillator or a flip-flop.
