Ryzen 5 3600X = Same singlecore as 9900k, worse multicore than 9900k

dude this is some random filipino guy's benchmark he's not sponsored by AMD

That's actually really promising, but I'm still waiting for a respectable number of independent tests - not gonna trust fuckin' corporations with their obvious marketing.

how does he have one?

Attached: fortnite-1109344.jpg (1039x549, 89K)

this IS an independent test though

>random filipino has one and managed to bench it in various ways

>not even for sale at local shops in first world yet

makes me go hmmmmmmm

because in the phillipines it's 5 PM, 7th july. it's obvious atleast one store will have zen2 by then
the video (it got deleted tf?) >>> youtube.com/watch?v=LId4IGN7vJM
screenshots still got posted here

>because in the phillipines it's 5 PM, 7th july. it's obvious atleast one store will have zen2 by then

Been checking all day, nobody in Australia even listed them for sale today...

>respectable number
Basically after all NDAs drop and CPUs start shipping so there's multiple tests from regular customers and not potentially buyable reviewers

yeah it's odd but they said it would be on store shelves by july 7th. here not even amazon has it, local retailers dont too

[Hebraic screeching]

and today is that day.. but yes i'd wait just in case.
if it is true (which i suspect it is) intel is eternally btfo, rip

Inb4 some random jungle gook conned you all into subbing to his youtube channel with fake benchmarks

Eternally BTFO is a bit of an overstatement. Even AMD's own benchmarks show they're better in some stuff while intel holds its ground in other stuff.

Having said that, if intel doesn't drop their prices even a bit, it's not looking good for them.

oh boy, passmark really needs to be PATCHED soon

I do know that. Still though, for most people the only reason to buy Intel is gaymes. And now they're defeated there. Intel's marketshare should be going down rapidly soon.

I'm not even touching one. Not until those idiots in PCHub stop bundling R5 3600 with X570 boards and penalizing people with almost 100USD more for buying it solo.

Hasnt passmark been gamed before by Intel?

Consider that this is done with fucky BIOS.
Can't wait to see the numbers after the proper BIOS drops.

delid dis

I really want to know how much effect the higher TPD/Cost versions have over the cheaper models before buying.
Just looking at the numbers you'd be insane to spend the extra bucks on the 3800X compared to the 3700X, or the 3600X compared to the 3600, but the significantly higher TPD must be doing something right?

You mean """patched""" ?
