the only reason i am paying the retard tax and getting an X570 is that because it supports Zen 2 out of the box. I want to buy X470 but I never updated a BIOS before and I don't have a Ryzen chip to turn it on. Am I missing something? difference is around 100 euros or so. I really need the answer.

I can throw away cash for a Ryzen right away but I don't see that need.

yikes from me man, you get access to 7nm and just barely match intels old ass 16 parts. Sure its good for consumers that were finally getting budget brand to catch up because of intels struggles but it hardly deserves praise. You should be sad its at a state where people are exciting for these.

If you buy X470 get one with BIOS flashback function, you can flash your bios with a USB drive without the need of a CPU.

They don't even show Intel overclocking. It's most 30% faster.

most pc hardware stores will update the bios on the motherboard for you before they send it out, sometimes for free but usually

Streaming is one of the main selling points of this chip fren.

Those 180 euros aren't worth the extra 4-5 frames. Just get an SSD like said or another new component.

get a 3600 scrub, you don't even need a 37 much less a 39.

probably saying that 3900x uses only 1% of cpu while streaming 10000 kbps 60fps video :D

could it also be dropped frames?

3900x is basically only processor at the market that almost does not lose frames while you stream 9900KFC loses 80% of them

oh right :D seems so. didn't realize it was slow preset, there is no cpu that could stream slow preset with 1% usage.
