The dark version is shit, too cold (all darl themes suck, but this one sucks even more)
The light version is alright, but the text is too light.
Gruvbox (medium) imho is way, way better: the dark version is now warm, and the light version has dark enough text, making it much easier to read.
Been using the light version for years now, hits the spot so well.

This, zenburn is really good, I used it for quite awhile.
Right now I'm with Nord and it's also very well made.
Anyways, low contrast themes (no matter if dark or light) suck ass in a bright environment. They can be very eye fatiguing.
I still have to find a good non-low (and not even high) contrast theme tho.
