Small Form Factor

Post builds and custom SFF cases. Preferably with full form factor cards.

>tfw can't justify spending $200 on an ncase or dancase
>tfw nowhere to put a sff case without it being louder than a case on the floor or a mess of cables

Any other relevant coolers outside of AIOs?

Silverstone SG13 is 49.99 and has good airflow. You can put an AIO with a small rad in it to keep it quiet, but cables.....

Not that small but still sexy

The Ncase is such a top tier design for a SFF case. I just wish there were more cheaper alternatives.

The cougar QBX is a copy of the Ncase but cheaper. Ncase is still superior in my opinion.

This "small" form factor is as small as full tower.

what's the point of sff
I'd rather have a big case with high airflow and slow fans so that it's quiet

You can do that with some of the nicer SFF cases. My ncase has it's fans set to 50% so I can't even hear it, yet my temps are in the mid to low 70s when under load. If I set the fans to 100% the temps drop by 10 degrees but it becomes noticeable. If you don't wanna shell out for one you can get a cougar QBX for much less.

I am interested in small cases because I move a lot.

What's the point of a literal fridge under your desk
I"d rather have a mATX case with high airflow and big fans, so that it's quiet and smallish
Very SFF in most usecases is a meme

Wtf are you talking about, this is the size of a shoebox

Cougar QBX or Silverstone SG13 for a budget-concious builder, or any other alternatives?

and do any of you bring these on a plane with you?

You could, just declare it like a laptop.

cute... what is the case?

yes ncase is nice, which they put screws on the side panels.

you might be able to squeeze a U9s in there

SFF case with atx hardware
Does it count?

Cougar looks neat honestly.

Lazer3D LZ7

You could, but the normal mounting of the PSU (SFX) is above the CPU, so you need to use a DC-DC and external power brick instead.

if you're using a sfx psu, then a L9x65 is the maximum size you could get, tho there would probably be no airflow. in that case I'd get cryorig c7 instead.

Should have gone w/ a smaller case.

rtx2070. I run freebsd and don't even game anymore.

shit, wtf that's good. Spec me out

>cougar QBX
Holy shit thanks user I found it for 60 USD over here(Not US)
I lost hope on finding any good SFF case but you've saved me

wtf is that

inwin dframe

the 6000 series radeon in there gave me a chuckle

That looks like even more painful cable management than the smaller Dan A4, though.

not really. I put the psu in last so I just plugged everything into it and stuffed it in. The only thing I cable managed was the 4+4 CPU power cable.

clearly retarded
