Errr.....2 meme slots per socket?

uh
my athlon 64 pc had a fan on the board

is OP, dare I say, underage?

fans fell out of use for a very good reason, summer friend

Well now chipsets are doing hard work again just like the old days. So back to fans we go.

Chipsets that produced more heat than X570 were cooled passively because they had actual heatsinks on them instead of the plastic choked gaymer shit they put on mobos nowadays.

OP didn't have an aftermarket heatsink on his northbridge lmao

why don't any of the fans have rgb?
talk about a missed opportunity

It's like trying to decipher some ancient fucking relic in dead languages.
" int a = [10]; " etc. is intriguing and the more i consider it the more bemused I become.

based /f1/ poster but don't post fake news you fag

No, just Carl

Is it bad that I have a computer engineering degree and couldn't answer any of these questions any better than the candidates?

dont remind them

Yes. VERY.

I don't get it - Talos II has 3 PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, and doesn't require active chipset cooling, so why new Ryzen mobos do?

Attached: boardlarge.png (2027x1524, 1.7M)

Talos seems to have all of it's lanes run trough the CPU, any extra heat generated from PCIe 4 signaling overhead would just be dissipated with all the other wasteheat from the CPU
AM4's chipset acts as a hub using 4 lanes from the CPU and splitting to 16 lanes to connect to all the minor peripherals all across the board so the chipset itself has to dissipate all the the heat from the signaling overhead

Aaah, thanks.

Anyone have the webm of the guy laughing/dongles?

Let me boot up my AyyMD personal computer real quick
*click*
*chipset cooling activated* VRRrrrrrRRRRRrrrrrRRrrrrr

Everything suffers less from rotational velocidensity if it's less compressed.

Motherboards used to come with fans. What's the big deal?

Intcels are so jealous that AMDbros have the best consumer chipset.

but I store all my music on m-disc, which is basically stone that last 1000 years before single bits start getting out of place.

wow I'm a physics undergrad and this makes me feel like a fucking genius, we don't even do that much programming but all of those are piss

Maybe I remember wrong, but the worst thing from the past that comes to my mind are big-ass heatsinks for chipsets and higher voltage RAM modules.

It was a gamer board and the memory controller is shared between the CPUs, not on the chip.
