Question: Why dont youtube put ads before the videostream data is sent?
So when you press a video, they'll send the ad, wait for the duration of the ad, and only then send the actual video.
This is what they do on twitch.tv and afaik you can't block that

YouTube Vanced if you want a 1:1 clone of YouTube App with logging in and everything, but modified to unlock YouTube Premium/Red features and completely disable ads
or NewPipe for an open source app that functionally works the same.

I uninstalled the youtube app after opening it the first time and seeing a autoplaying ad, a ad every couple of videos, and it saying the video will play after these ads, plural . I just use the website.
