The UK site dumped all its stock of PlayStation Classics for £16 each earlier, which can be turned into a pretty decent emulation solution with great ease.

My personal experience, only a few games support anything over 60hz and my 144hz monitor was a waste in most cases. It's great in FPS games (when it's supported) but that's pretty much the only case where getting a 144hz monitor actually mattered.

Are you talking about GPU power? Because it's kind of implied that unless you're a total nigger, if you're buying above 1080p 60Hz you have the performance to drive it. Not like you need much these days, the majority of games benefit more from being on Medium/High and 1440p 144Hz than bumping all settings to Super Ultra, and there are tons of GPUs capable of that.

I got a half price vacuum cleaner which I needed anyway. So that's a thing I guess.
