You're retarded

Attached: THISISANEARBUD.jpg (1023x682, 98K)

is soundmagic e10 good for the price? if not what's something similar anons

Expanding on this, im looking for a V-shaped iem with good bass for less than 50 bucks. Any ideas? Ill probably be using it from my phone so no amp. And better if its a simple bullet-like design.

if it's something you stick in your ear, it's an earbud. If people heard an austic incel refer to his earbuds as "in ear monitors" in real life, they would cringe hard and laugh at his pathetic ass.

ok buddy

Stop projecting

inb4 user has been laughed at by someone when he sperged out and said THEYRE NOT EARBUDS THEYRE IEMS

1. Bass not base
2. Rock Zircon or moondrop crescent

It would be cool if it has a detachable able. I would like in-line volume controls.

Ety ER2SE or XR if you want a bit more bass

Theres some good wooden IEMs but most are just retard chink shit

Would that suggestion change if I used Foam tips. I dont know if theyd fit on that one

they come with foams but foam ruins the sound of everything not just on these

Hermione curve

You'll need to find foam sleeves that fit. Westone sleeves and Comply T-100 fit. I currently use the Shure black foams, but these have a couple of issues involved:
-the wax filter hinders inserting the sleeve all the way to the base
-once fitted over the nozzle, they don't come off easily or neatly
Klipsch oval tips also work.

>foam ruins the sound of everything
Try not covering the sound bore.

I've been properly Chinked.
>buy BGVP SGZ-DN1s
>they sound great, wear them while I'm working out and running at the gym
>the thin shitty plastic covers on the housings eventually fall off
>glue them back in place
>the housing on one starts cracking around the MCCX connector
>glue it back together
>cracks further
>apply more glue
>sand it down
>finally firmly held together
>driver starts dying

>buy a set of "black" KZ ZSN
>its actually just a slightly darker silver
>comes with typical ugly brown cable
>mine shipped with the cable with an inline mic
>there is a persistent hiss at all times, can even hear it through some music
>replace the cable
>hiss is gone
>but I'm now $40~ into a pair of $18~ IEMs

What other Chinese garbage should I try out before I drop a few hundred dollars on something of actual quality?

ety includes foam tips

I've uncovered the bore. They still make things sound muffled.

I still haven't decided
should I get the Final E4000 or the Moondrop KXXS?
I mainly listen to anime music and my source will be S10+
please help me decide

>Chinese garbage
yeah thats what KZ is known for
Buy real Chi-Fi
Moondrop, QDC, UM, Fearless
All REAL Chi-Fi brands

KXXS or Kanas Pro. Better vocals than E4k which is a bit too warm for squeaky chinese women imo.

but the E4000 is Japanese and I will be playing Japanese music

Attached: 1509586170396.jpg (712x712, 42K)

But the owner of Moondrop is a complete fuckin weeb. Plus e4k doesn't come with a waifu on the box.

Can the KXXS be worn straight down or are they over the ear only?
You aren't being paid by moondrop are you?

Attached: 1555874907777.gif (512x512, 510K)

Some of the more expensive Moondrop models are what I'm ultimately looking at.
Though despite my complaints I have actually enjoyed checking out these IEMs. Prior to this I've only ever used random stuff like some Creative or Sony IEMs. Right away I could hear a difference in sound quality between what I used to use and the BGVPs. I thought my Zune always sounded pretty good, but with better IEMs I can hear crackles in whatever the Zune encodes stuff to at certain volumes, and I hear its not there in the original when played from my PC. I can hear a marked difference in clarity on tracks between my old Zune and my Blackberry. I do like listening to my old music collection and hearing how the different IEMs color the sound of things as well.

so what’s everyone listening with today?

Does /iemg/ like Bluetooth stuff?
I just barely got into sennheiser products and I want a pair of headphones to go off on the right foot. What do you guys recommend?

Attached: IMG_20190715_130627.jpg (4000x3000, 2.18M)

I'd like to get payed by them but sadly not. And no they are over ear.

Yeah Moondrops higher end is really nice. I really want to try the A8 sometime in the future. From what I've heard the Tanchjim Oxygen is very close in FR and might be my next purchase.

Galaxy Buds
pretty nice harman-neutral with good tonality. Only complaint is mids sound a bit hollow at times

so they can only be worn over the ear?

Yep

How's the call quality on em? Thought about picking up the buds but then I saw the momentum drop in price.

Attached: index.jpg (225x225, 9K)

that's a deal breaker for me

What does Jow Forums think about these ones?

pioneer-audiovisual.eu/eu/products/se-ch5t

Attached: SE-CH5T_colors.jpg (1200x665, 130K)

how would you say the galaxy buds compare to the kxxs or kanas pro?

I know, the gliders and the flat top ones.
You do need to make sure to roll back the foam before insertion.
When you say muffled, how so? Try to compare the balance to other tips if you will.

>Tanchjim Oxygen

pioneer is shit

rip

KXXS and KP is way better but Galaxy Buds are still good. Mids are a bit hollow but bass and well controlled but still powerful and treble is a bit sharp at times. If you have a samsung phone the soft eq setting helps with the treble being so sharp and makes the mids less hollow.

so if i have the earbuds included with my S10+ and the galaxy buds is there any reason to get the E4000? I don't want anything over the ear

help me out anons

need a good dap for 100 bucks /iemg/. If possible Id like to be able to control from inline controls

That's why you don't talk about them in front of normies, faggot. Call them earbuds to normalfags and, to people who actually give a shit about audio, we can refer to them by the proper terms.

y-you guys talk to people?

I recently did a direct comparison between the S9 AKG earphones (same as S10+ buds) and Final E4000s.
AKG buds are surprisingly nice to listen to, but are definitely not as "full" sounding as the E4000. E4000s are warmer (just a smidgen less "bright" than the AKG buds) yet at the same time deliver more detail. Also more bass and fuller mids.
I would say the E4000s are a straight improvement but my personal tastes veer towards full / warm sound as well (yes it was perfectly good for J-Pop, but also really good with classical music). Whether that's worth $150 to you is not my decision, but yes I'd say that improvement is worth it to me (and I'd not really ever pay more than $200 for an IEM so that's another factor). E4000s for me are also very easy to listen to for long periods of time with no fatigue.
Note that the cable in this photo is not the stock cable, I had an unfortunate mishap with my stock cable (which is a simple, no frills black wire) and had to purchase a replacement.
tl;dr: It's my opinion that the E4000 is worth it.

Attached: lain.jpg (1200x1200, 389K)

Anyone recommend a good portable amp, don’t really need dac so it must have line input and hopefully long ass battery time between charges.

>If possible Id like to be able to control from inline controls
I don't know of any DAPs that allow this.

thanks
do you have idea how the E4000s would compare to the AKG Y50BT? Is comparing earbuds to headphones like cameras where larger almost always means better?
Basically if I were watching movies on a plane should I be using E4000s or AKG Y50BT

fugg. oh well, its not a deal breaker for me.

im split between er2se and the tin t2/pro/3 (idk which of the 3 is best). i would still spend upwards of 150 but i like money and savings if possible.

>got a pair of tin audio t2 5 months ago

ER2 is way better than anything tin makes

moondrop crescent or spaceships would have a similar sound signature with better (not thumpy) bass and mids

Dont bitch about plastic IEMS. They are plastic. Im in bed listening to my 2.5 year old BGVP SDG DN1 with a blutooth cable while my other shit is charging. You want metal. T2 if you want neutral QT5 if you want bass.

YES. I used to absolutely hate on it but now i cant live without it

Just dont. Dont buy shure.

amps and stacking is dumb just get a DAP with some balls

you can controll a DAP with a watch or remote BT is pretty based these days

just by a cheap new MMCX cable... the male MMCX is what breaks the Female T2 socket should be fine

ER2 is not $30

elaborate

i may have misread you, i thought you were talking about looks alone

nice. Does the cable charge via micro USB or type C?

oh no no

What's the best wired IEM under $200 that can be worn straight down?

I asked this in /pmp/ but the thread got janitor'd. Are there any good PMPs for under $200 or should I just stick to my phone as source?

It's extremely good for the price, I use it as a daily driver for commutes myself.

I got the ZSN Pro. Tends to sound muddy in certain tracks and lacks detail (compared with the T2 above), but not a bad buy for $15. Bass is just as I like it. Cable is nice.

Other anons have recommended Final E4000 and Moondrop KXXS, but I don't want anything worn over the ear. Is the E4000 the best I can buy with my budget or are there alternatives?

>you seem pretty knowledgeable
dont fall for the meme

>I don't want anything worn over the ear
you cold probably get away with wearing the kxxs down with a different cable maybe

So the cable is the reason the KXXS can't be worn straight down? I don't understand how that works

>BUDGET ?
WIRED OR BT?
BT would be better, but either one works if it uses detachable MMCX cables.

>DO YOU LISTEN TO BASS MUSIC ?
Occasional EDM, but no nogbass thanks.

not zishan but the e4000 is so-so in isolation so if you want to be able to hear your surroundings and upgrade your sound they are a good choice.
KXXS is over ear only so that’s a no (molded to fit a certain way so it’d probably be uncomfortable worm downwards.)
at the top of your budget would also be the campfire audio comet, but for those not used to the sound of a balanced armature idk if you would like that (hence the e4000 being a safer bet with its single dynamic driver.)
all of these so far have had removable cables as well, going a bit cheaper and the moondrop crescent ($30) is a good non-removable cable option that is harman-tuned so it should be quite pleasing for just about anything, and cheap enough that it’s not a tragedy if something happens to them.
anything here is a fantastic option and will definitely be an upgrade. do a bit of research on them to see if one or the other would suit your needs better. (also not wanting over-ear kinda limits you a bit since so many are like that currently.)

But his budget is up to $150 so why not get something better than retard-fi

Campfire Comet is $318 on Amazon...

still lookin for a decent dap that will connect with BT. I was looking at the es100 but that would just render my earbuds bluetooth adapter useless. insight on this?
