oh, the headphone amp is under the left monitor. the one under the centre monitor is a Technics speaker amp from the early 90s (gumtree find).

all the buttons have a clunk when you press them in (which is quite satisfying) and it's lasted almost 30 years, so maybe that's why its so big.

I just learned that my second monitor that I want to paint exists in black, but the only place I could find it is a canadian website that doesn't ship outside of north america so I'm fucked
I'll just get a monitor that's black and give that one to my brother

also I kind of want a prettier keyboard but this one works and it's comfortable enough to use so I can't justify getting a new one

Normally I'd agree with you on the Alienware but that sucker only cost me $100 from some fellow who decided to sell it after one of the video cards went bad. And the mousepads are just scrap leather and I like them for some reason.
