Although I don't use Twitter(Nor' do I use Facebook), I have to say that the Re-Design is really ugly and does not go well on PC.
For some reason, every Company seems to be going 'Mobile' these days. Even ask Microsoft and they'll tell you about their inconsistency with the Windows 10 UI and how that it incorporates some elements of Mobile-Touch.
Twitter in my opinion, didn't really need a Re-Design. Just a few tweaks but not this Re-Design crap.
