Pay back a loan.
Save for retirement, buy a house and take care of children.
Even neglecting my current goal to secure 6 month of living expenses in savings, I have to be careful of my expenditures and can't really afford fancy stuff.
Also comparing income with my acquaintances, I'm often at the lower end (blue collars don't count, they have a lower income but years of working while engineers are in uni effectively spending money without income).

It's really more like $10k/yr for 5+ hours of monotonous work a day if the scam sites even pay out, and that's assuming you have like 100 phones. Then the phones start breaking because they're cheap so you have to keep paying money to even maintain the system... It's almost worth it but it's really not. You could try botting it but the beermoney sites sniff out that sort of thing so it's never entirely passive. You'd be better off trying an entrepreneurial endeavor or gambling on the stock market if you have free time and want to make money.
