Not if you're streaming. And if you aren't streaming, you probably aren't competitive.
>competitive fortnite

You must be 18 to post here.
Not by any sort of meaningful difference. Just get a 3700x for a fraction of the price once they come back in stock.
This is gayer than fishnet programming socks
>more powerful processor uses more power
>behind by 20 fps even on ultra settings
How embarrassing. It's almost as if using a tri-core CPU on a quad-core game is a dumb idea.
>5-10% more powerful processor (*in certain single threaded workloads) uses almost double the power
fixed that for you
meant for
Don't forget the 9900k also requires a pricey cooler to go with it. You could just go with a chapter 3700X, stick with the stock cooler and put the savings towards a better GPU. 9900k only worth if you already have a 2080ti that can leverage it.
Niggers and wrong. Much faggotry.
True. OP is underage and most likely a zoomer.
Buy the 3800, 3700 or 3900 if you have the money. KYS afterwards for playing fortnite.
>fortnite
>competitive
yeah sure over 18
there you have it, in certain workloads. Its time to accept that ryzen is the best choice unless youre a spergtard
You can run Fortnite fine on an Athlon 200GE or a Pentium G4600, it's not demanding.
