If Ryzen is so much better then how come it's still below Intel?
If Ryzen is so much better then how come it's still below Intel?
because you touch yourself at night
Because you're a kike
Wow. The 3900x does surprisingly well at a lower clock rate. I’d be interested in seeing it’s performance when water cooled
Cringe
>If Ryzen is so much better then how come it's still below Intel?
It's better "per $" and that's what truly matters in a competition like this. You may have the best product there can be but you're fucked if you price it in a way that only elitist autists will pay
LET THE TEARS FLOW AMD FAG
>It's better "per $"
They literally cost the same
It isn't, obviously. The AMDrones on this board just won't admit it.
3900x still seems better because of more cores and threads which will be used in games in the near future. Back in the day games only used a single thread now it's four threads.
>t.
Did you know people use computers for rad stuff other than video gaymes?
baste
Yeah
Intel had a lead on the single core preformance for the longest time though?
Yes but you forget PCs unlike consoles are not only for gaming, so while intel is most of the time only marginally better in gaming, it's getting absolutely assraped everywhere else (which was not the case with Zen/Zen+) so overall it still loses horribly.
CPUs are hilariously inflated in terms of price. The Chip you get costs them less than $5 to make. The rest of the cost is "R&D" and a giant profit margin. Oh btw, if you're buying i3/i5s or lower core Zen you're basically getting chips that had defects in the other cores and were disabled. You're literally buying a defective product, kek.
>The 3900x does surprisingly well at a lower clock rate
NOO
>Oh btw, if you're buying i3/i5s or lower core Zen you're basically getting chips that had defects in the other cores and were disabled. You're literally buying a defective product, kek.
That's not necessarily the case though, as AMD's history proves. They were intentionally disabling parts of perfectly good Phenom II cores just because the demand for cheaper models was higher than supply of defective dies. There's no reason to believe it's any different this time, especially with how often we hear about great yields. The only difference is that with Zen they have disabled the cores irreversibly.
Frenly reminder that Intel had to drop their prices because of competition. If AMD never released these chips Intel would still be shamelessly raping your wallet. Competition is a win/win
Yeah I think so. They had a lead since 2006 starting with the C2D.
>drop their prices
>check pcpartpicker
>9900k is $475
>9700k is $362
In what reality?
go back to /v/
>more cores
>more threads
>brings good cooler
>can be used on older mobos
>wont burn your house down
>wins in some games loses in some
>mobo can be used for future cpu upgrades
yea anyone who buys intel literally has the impulsive marketed brain of a negro or a woman
I hurt myself today
>>brings good cooler
Uhhh... it's the one case where it probably would be better if they told you to get a good cooler on your own instead
They hit a hard wall at 4.2-4.3Ghz.
MAYBE 4.4ghz if you're lucky as fuck.
Anything past that requires LN2 or similar retarded extreme cooling measures.
To see if I still feel
a month ago they were $500 and $400.
I focus on the pain
you aren't fooling anyone rabbi
The only thing that's real
The needle tears a hole
The old familiar sting
Try to kill it all away
But I remember everything
AMD is actually insanely good value for the performance you get right now. Just look at this man. The day they released the 3000 series many people acted completely disappointed even if Intel got BTFO.
What have I become
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know
Goes away in the end
LOWER IS BETTER OMG
FUCKING SHILLS
Fuck off retarded amd shill keep dicksucking shitzen 3000
so it's not so much a "price cut" so much as they're finally deciding to deduct the cost of the cooler they stopped supplying.
>Fuck off retarded amd shill keep dicksucking shitzen 3000
