I didn't think people actually did this type of shit in real life until I met my sister's boyfriend (who she eventually married). The first time I met him I flew into SF to visit them, they were living together by this point. Their apartment had 3 different glass cases full of marvel shit. Tons of 1:6th scale "statues", busts, all arranged meticulously, all dusted weekly. He had boxes of extra comic book statue garbage filling up a storage unit that my sister was slowly forcing him to re-sell on eBay (that other retards were buying above MSRP because I guess 'limited edition' actually means something to these dipshits).
Worse than the fact that he was littering their house with all these toys on display was that he was making roughly 1/3rd what my sister made, and wasn't able to adequately contribute to rent. She covered nearly all of his rent, but he kept spending tons of his money on stupid toy shit while also (literally) crying to her about money. And that fucking idiot ended up marrying him.

It's because the only thing it has going for it is minimalism, but your execution is a 7/10. I used to have it mounted, but I lean back in my chair most of the time and it would've fucked my eyes up in terms of reading.
There is though? It's a huge mouse mat and I move my keyboard over to the left when gaming. I play CS without any problems whatsoever.

I am moving in 10 days to a 700 sqft newly built 1 bedroom apartment. Compared to this place that is at least 100 years old. Smooth nicely painted walls, brand new non fucked up flooring.

I think I will just buy a $40 folding table and then figure it out from there.
Have any of you bought height adjustable desks simply to have it at the ideal height while sitting as opposed to using it as a standing desk?
