Help. I order a Meizu Note 9 off of AliExpress, but found out I can't load a custom Rom on it. I'm wanting to get a Redmi Note 7 but they say they have already shipped it. The tracking number they gave me shows nothing. Can I say it never arrived and ask for a refund when it eventually shows up? Or will they know? The Meizu ROM looks like garbage...

I just updated my S8 and the nav bar changed. It's cool and all but the problem is that the icons are different than the old ones, and the old ones are now literally burned inside my screen. Same with the Google logo of the keyboard. It's not really visible until you focus on it but it fucks me up. Do all AMOLED/OLED panels have this issue ?

Is it worth it to get the regular S10 over the S10e? I prefer the smaller size and flat screen on the S10e and I don't really care about the camera but my local store is having a sale on the S10 so it's cheaper than the S10e and the battery is better.
I've also read that the Exynos models tends to get pretty hot so I assume that it'll be less of an issue on the S10 because there's more space for the heat to dissipate.

3 weeks since I got my Mi 9t and I'm liking it quite a bit.
Yeah, Oneplus 5 had the display installed upside down which caused the "jelly effect", where the image on the screen seems to stretch when you scroll up and down. Nearly all displays refresh from top to bottom, and there is a slight delay meaning top pixels will be changed first. Flip the display and it now refreshes from bottom to top, which our brains aren't used to seeing. A simple fix would have been to make the display refresh bottom to top in the first place, so when you install it upside down it then refreshes top to bottom.
