What backup software for programming?

I synchronize my programming folder with Dropbox.
Any better alternative?

What if you lose your data before pushing?

rsync periodically to a server.
dropbox probably isn't that bad. just make sure to use git on top of it for proper version control

Judging by your image you must be a GNOME user. Keep using Dropbox, its intergrated with GNOME and Nautilus.

Mirror drive with rsync cron job.

I don't do backups, I like living on the edge.

Another NoFap streak bites the dust.

Why would you delay pushing? If you don't want premature work on the master branch, just put it in another branch and push it too.

*sniff*
