I'm oozing with envy.

why do so many fags like rgb? it looks ugly and is an eyesore if it's next to your monitors

because muh colors

I like purple and cyan in tech but this one looks like shit desu

That's ok, it's not mine. It's sitting at microcenter.

Imagine having a son. You clean his shit, deal with his tantrums, etc. He grows up, begs you to buy him a PC. You do, because you believe it's good he learns about these things. He makes a list, you look it over and you approve. Says he's building it on his own.
>Proud
Come home from working hard at work to keep the family afloat. Walk into his room to check on his new hobby. It's a queer rainbow display of bright fucking lights all over the place. You give a shallow smirk, trying to disguise your disgust. Stay up reading John Dewey, wondering where it all went wrong.

Zoomers don't build. They buy pre-built Alienware machines with their mom's money.

Are there any examples of RGB done right?

Not the greatest but it's been doing me well so far, t.2001 zoomer.

How much room is there on the other side for cable management?

Based 100R fag.

Not that much but it works, I won't cheap out as much on my next case because it's a little annoying installing drives in it.

At least with the drive bays oriented like that, you can manage the cables. Pic related is in my case. No way to avoid the mess of cables right there like that but at least it won't be seen since my case has no window.

The space it's a little bit limited, but it's good if you know how to do this shit. Use some wire straps and preferably a modular PSU.

Windowed cases are for faggots.

I think they're kinda cool, not gonna lie, but I generally like modest cases, rather than ones with fag lights all inside it. It seems that a modest case that isn't shit quality is hard to find, at least for me. The only lights inside my case are the blue intake fan, the CPU fan is red, and the MSI logo lights up on my GPU but that's it.

I wanted a new case for my computer, so I got a cheaper option, but the RED LEDs on the fans are stuck in the ON position.
So I said fuck it and bought about $40 bucks worth of light strips.

My old IdeaCentre C1B85M never had it so good.
The front panel connections don't have a slot to be put into because the mobo had some proprietary bullshit. I bought an adapter cable so I can at least snake USB 2.0 to the front. I hooked up the front audio line to the Asus Xonar sound card I bought, otherwise, no connection to the mobo there either.

feels like some Frankenstein build, but never have had more fun ever. Installed Debian Mint and got the rx570 working with my steam Proton. I only have 2 sys and 1 + fan connection, so there is 1 case fan that can't be powered. Doesn't get hot though.

>but the RED LEDs on the fans are stuck in the ON position
>Not cutting the led cables

LMAO

But that would be destroying, not creating.

Too many 5.25'' bays for a zoomer build.

Isn't this disgusting whenever you have to add something in or swap a part out?

9600k at 5 ghz, temps don't go over 70c with shit airflow. I also like not having the cooler putting alot of strain on the mobo socket like some bigass aircoolers do. Also makes accessing things easy.

to be fair I have seen SOME some stuff that's tasteful, like clean subtle white light illuminating things as if in a display case, but the vast majority of it is just gaudy neon rainbow coloring everywhere. Looks straight-up clownish.

Also not a fan of the big glass cases either. I want something that I can actually transport without having to pray it doesn't break apart. People should just get into aquariums as a separate hobby if they just want illuminated glass boxes.

Showing that LGBT pride

I had some RGB on my new build. It was blinking like a Christmas tree. Had to turn that shit to one solid color (light blue). Looks pretty good that way

Agree. The strobe on most of that shit makes me have a seizure.
Solid white (light blue sounds fine too) or red for night vision.
Everything else seems fun for 5 minutes but becomes memey real fast

Speaking from experience (i used to be early 20s idiot with loads of disposable income), Yes.
Also the oil breaks down plastic rather quickly. Soon most of the cables's shell would be flaking off whenever you try to move them.
Also, the system is trashed if you ever want to move it to a non-submerged build. It'll never be clean; no it won't drip dry; oil clings to every surface, nook, and cranny.
