I just fiddle with everything around me so those things are usually gone in a month. Push your fingernail under there every few hours and that thing does not survive. The residue of glue that remains after that can easily be removed with a tissue. Gets messy at first with all that ripped paper, but if you rub more those will get absorbed back into the tissue after a short time.
