I actually have a 3700X coming in the mail, though they sent me another tracking number so I don't know when will it come.

and score
also, it's coupled with a 1080 ti armor with accelero IV, shitty OC but at least it runs cool and silent.

I am getting the 64c TR when it comes out, so then I will.

ADD MORE COARS

Is this a non-K CPU on Z-series MB..?
Have you just set voltage to 1.3v and raised the bus speed?

This only happened because the 3770k didn't like 4.5Ghz.
I guess I'll just buy a discount 3900x/3950x when 8 coars is not enough now.

Forgot pic ofc.

Attached: cpu_z.png (403x402, 24K)

Zen+ really doesn't like dual rank/4 sticks of ram.
Could run 3200Mhz if I removed some of it.

Attached: cpu_z.png (403x402, 18K)

Yes, literally look at the pic, it's at 1.3v and 106 BLCK, I had it at 106.3, but it wasn't stable.
usually it's the mobo, I think, I've read about daisy channel and t-topology, that's why I got a X470 Taichi, which is T-Topology and it should do better with 4 sticks of RAM. Most mobos are daisy chain tho.

Wait for Zen 3

Attached: 1563884155644.jpg (960x960, 212K)

I've waited long enough, and my mobo should be able to use a 12/16 cores Zen 3.

Bad news, user.
Zen3 will have ddr5, so you'll most likely have to change board.

>Zen3 will have ddr5
That's literal fake news but whatever

That's the plan, unless some unexpected zen2+ happens.

Oh, well, didn't see it.
That sucks.
But maybe will work on current MB.
Maybe they don't give a shit anymore because intel can't into processors.

Wow, some people actually bought 1500x.
Look, I've got a 1600x for you if you're in yurop.
Just send a postal box address.

not him but contact me on [email protected]
I live in Ibiza, a tiny island, if that's not a problem :^)

oh god why is everything on fire

Yeah, that sucks balls.
If you live in ibiza, I'm sure you could suck a few dicks and get the same deal, anyways.

am retard, here's CPU-zed picture

are you a qt grill?

I've got an X3440 or 60, on a mobo with that i5 750, it works ok. It was like 10~15€ on Ali.
No. I am pretty manly and I only fuck traps.
I don't get money from fucking traps tho.

Also yes user, that is indeed a stable, air-cooled 30% overclock, thanks for noticing

Been a great CPU but it's going to move aside when the 3950x arrives.
September can't come quick enough.

Your NB frequency is at 3.2
Did you mess with cache ratio/mesh ratio/clocks? My 9800X can barely push 3.1Ghz on the mesh. Here’s a (you) for a beast compared to ayyymd owners

good job beating last year's Ryzen
now post results with the actual CPU that nigga posted

how did you pulled 4ghz on 1.3v?
my pc gives up on stress tests on 4ghz even at 1.36v

>hyperthreading
How's all those security holes treating you?

Have you delided and what cooler you got? Also run my room cold af. He just over clocked his fsb front side bus or base clock high enough since his multiplier is locked

You're just showing your own ignorance if you honestly think the average person gaming at home has literally ANY concerns about the security issues that have been plaguing intel over the last year or two.
They're a big deal if you run a datacenter or similar, but for gaming at home? Who gives a fuck? You'd have to be a retard to think it's a threat to you.

Boomer here

Attached: 1564617583429.png (417x411, 39K)

I guess i got lucky with my sample, in the past i had an i7 6700k that wouldn't go up to 4.5 Ghz without 1.425 Vcore i guess the universe compensated me when i got the Ryzen.

It's honestly a good processor, it's basically a rebranded i5 7500.

4 cores might be a limit nowadays though, I upgraded to an i5 9400 because of the stuttering.

I lost the silicon lottery, hard. My 9700KF will crash in any AVX workload at 5ghz unless I set the vcore to at least 1.4v. So much for the KF versions having a higher overclocking potential.

Attached: 1560709022210.png (403x402, 27K)

>deliding ryzen
are you okay user?.
Its not the temps that are a problem, i top at 60c at 1.312v because i have giant ass cooler. On top of that my mobo doesnt have LLC settings at all

This is the attitude that allows them to jew on people.

I mean, AVX workloads are always the first bottleneck in an OC.

If you can get 4.9Ghz all core with AVX, that's already a decent OC.

Pretending to be concerned about security issues that have a near zero chance of ever impacting your life is just ignorant, or autistic.

It's just not something to be concerned about.

You're unironcically probably more likely to be struck by lightning than be targeted and successfully attacked by one of these vulnerabilities.

Just not something i'm gonna lose sleep over.

No I’m not okay user it’s been a long day and finals didn’t go so hot today in active directory... I’m not okay and I’m going to take a nap
I thought you were in context to this post

Attached: C18B720A-97A7-493B-AF7E-2604916E7B12.gif (500x230, 105K)

Rest user, everything is going to be alright.

Glad I'm not a corelet

Attached: smug niggy.png (399x752, 257K)

It's not about being targeted, but about the cost of mitigations. They lower performance (especially I/O and context switch times) and were shipped to everyone with Windows Update. Windows updates your CPUs microcode even if the BIOS wasn't updated by the vendor.

An average user won't know about this so will not even thing about turning the mitigations off to get back the performance.

I wonder what is the world wide cost of increase power use due to those issues...

You ARE a corelet, you're NOT a threadlet though.

You have 6c/12t.

8c is the minimum these days, so you're below the 8c cut-off, making you a corelet by definition.

Your 12 threads however make you NOT a threadlet.

Conversely, a 9700k has 8c/8t, so it ISN'T a corelet, but it IS a threadlet.

gotta go fast

Attached: cpuz.png (409x409, 27K)

Anything else and my shitty 800mhz ram starts freezing even at 2volts.

>haswell
i see you're a man of culture as well

stock voltage and clocks until i get a better cooler. 212 evo is nice for a 4690k i used to have but it can't OC the i7

Attached: 9Ue8rql.png (397x371, 39K)

core 2 quad GOAT
last time i used it i was overclocked at 3.6ghz (400mhz fsb, 1.55 volts, original coolermaster v8)

i still have this pc, actually still in use with a 750ti and a proper monitor. still running at 1.55v

GOTTA GO FAST

Attached: CPUz TR4.png (838x420, 187K)

Why do you need so many threads?

Hardcore pornography. Thirty-two windows spanning 8 22'' monitors. Running a custom porn optimized Arch install that dedicates one porn stream to a thread. It's next-gen fapping.

Also VMs. But mostly porn.

I didn't know there were quad core Celerons.

Actually, I thought the Celeron line was gone.
