Anyone have these? If so, how's the low range?

Trying to upgrade from basically that.

Which?

>Trying to upgrade from basically that
Don't bother.

R1850DB is $140

gonna

4" driver is meh

you actually want smaller drivers if you sit very close to the speaker, otherwise they won't sound right

I got the Edifier RT1700 for that kind of use and was actually impressed, sounded better than i expected.
I use headphones for more analytical listening.

Thinking about pic related so they'll actually fit on my desk

For 250 I get a QHD IPS monitor with dogshit integrated 1W speakers and continue using the superior tech - open back headphones

A refurbished 2.1 setup for $40.

I work from home & listen to music all day. 8+ hours with headphones on does not sound like a good time.

came here to post this, anything from the presonus eris line is great

i had two pairs of the 5 inchers and they hissed like FUCK
got mackies instead

150 $ headphones and a amp/Zac for them.

That's not how it works

is the man in the picture crazy? he will get.deaf? hisbwars will explode!!!

yes he probably is, but it's a common misconception that big speakers = loud
