It's pretty stock KDE in terms of panels, just added Kvantum and a theme, set the terminal colours with wal, thanks for the compliment!

Dear desktop thread, today I put my window decorations with the close button on the right and the minimize button on the left, but earlier when i went to close dolphin, i went for the button on the left instinctively, so I switched the buttons so my instinct is correct.

just use bspwm where you can have both, duh. Dynamically adjust the window gaps when you need more space and have the gaps there for that sick a e s t h e t i c otherwise.

It is, you just let a simple reder file handle the reading and just use your file manager to handle the files and the metadata for orginisation

While I still use some of that aesthetic I just did it with my own stuff on sway, i3status-rust and kitty
I really love the look of larbs but I fucling hate the software it uses. I need my dynamic window management with kitty and wayland

Just again... How did you get unicode characters to work in the bar? Does it just work out of the box with sway? Or did you have to install pango or something?

idk it just worked out of the box but i did have pango because I know sway doesnt handle the X font syntax or whatever properly. In fact it is recommemended in the sway from i3 migration page on github to install pango

is there a pastebin or a guide that's generally accepted as valid for configuring i3wm+gaps? i'm on a void+i3 install atm just so i could try it (and stop using shitty arch with its shitty systemd) and want to actually get somethin cute and comfy going for it without having to rely on something someone else made and want to learn but can't find decent resources.

I actually have it open in the background, you can see the icon in the taskbar :D. I sometimes look at the wallpapers to see if someone in my taste comes up but usually its all just anime stuff which im not into these days. Thanks for the feedback!
