Personally I think the only option to prevent this is start widely and strictly rejecting capitalism, which I have started doing, but it's difficult as fuck and most sheeps don't even see the issue and can't be expected to act, so basically we're doomed.

Why would you reject a system of freedom, when its the governments and the corporations that you should reject? Capitalism is just what you get when you apply free trade, its not a system with rules or a evil masterplan. What you should fight for is your freedom of speech and right to vote.
