Fucking virgin and their price hikes. At least with the first one I got extra 100mbps for like 5 quid, but this year it's some marketing BS about how their WiFi is great.
And there's no other provider around that does even 100mbps.. First world country goddammit

I can't complain.

Underage b&

Less because in the US they're allowed to run monopolies as long as the government gets something out of it

t bill cuck

Nope. Not even on a good day. Paying for 100MBs and get less than half that at best.
iPrimus, if anyone's interested.

Around 50mb less, paying for gigabit. Probably my equipment that can't handle the full thing though honestly, since the modem seems to take 1.1gb using their speed test but I dunno if that's fake

>mom can i please buy-y this even though i didn't do the chores earlier please ?

Alaska. I should be getting 900+ down.

more

why even bother if it's still asymmetrical

Slightly more in terms of download. My upload sucks. No caps though. Can't complain.

net is uncluded in rent
i get 99/98mbit instead of 100/100 that i should get

It's less than the advertised speed but it exceeds the predicted range it told me at checkout.

$11/mo

I pay for 100/40
Generally that upload doesn't go over 40, guess I'm lucky today.

Marketed as 100/5, but 115 due to additional overhead that ISP gives.

Hfc cable NBN? Also live in brisbane but still on Telstra cable for another 2-3 months. Going over to HFC NBN though. What does your download top put at for things like steam etc? I usually max out at 14.5 MB/s but curious what NBN is limited to.

Mine is 200/20 for $60/month. Usually higher than 200 though, sometimes as high as 300 if its like the middle of the night.

Can't complain, especially since it used to be $60 for 100/10 and then the company got bought out and the new owner just switched it to 200/20 without charging anything extra.

I used to get mad that no one around here offered gigabit speeds, but honestly since getting this speed, 200-300mbit is fine. Takes like a half hour to download 50+ GB games.

I'm on FTTN, just lucky enough to live right at the end of the street next to the node. Highest I've seen it go is 15 megabytes/sec late at night.

no, not really.

If i get 5% less than what I pay for I just phone and yell at them until I get what I deserve.
Works every single time and I don't give a fuck if the support girl ends up crying on the toilet becaues of me.

My. internet. speed. will. not. be. lowered.

It's pretty bad.

BT guarantees 100mbps, pic related - I always get 110+. Virgin is faster though for sure

>so much bandwidth
>nothing worth downloading

I pay for gigabit, which is to say 500 up and 500 down, through a municipal ISP. I've noticed over the past few months that I don't get that speed at peak hours, but then again I don't mind because 300 up and down is fine at the moment for the shit I do.

The competitors are god awful ISPs like Spectrum who will literally drop to 1 Mbps during peak hours and only offer 250 for the same price in the first place.

>be OP
>Virgin Media ISP
Like pottery.

>BeTa
Lmao
Seething

Paying for 220Mbits but getting 240

What kind of calculation is that? If you pay for gigabit, it should at least be gigabit down if not both. Why would you add download and upload together?

Meh. I'm paying like $30/month (that's like 20 usd) so i'm not complaining

Oops, forgot to attach pic.

Attached: 8472863549.png (350x200, 22K)

~900Mbps down instead of a gigabit and ~125Mbps up instead of 100Mbps

less

Attached: fucksky.png (1588x505, 62K)

i pay around 20€ for 20 Mbs and get no more than 10-15

Not in my area, max anyone other than virgin offers is 60mbps, f that

I pay for 150mbps but I pretty much never get below 180mbps, and sometimes 220mbps or so.

I use Comcast in California. They send me DMCA's like within minutes of starting a torrent, so they're pretty fast.

More, I pay for 500/60 Mbps.

Try not using wireless you troglodyte.

speedtest lies for me, i never get the throughput shown on the upload in real world.
