Almost every worthwhile application on Linux uses either Qt or its own toolkit.

Gnome and GTK apps have a consistent look and feel, and they just look really nice (except the file picker). KDE and Qt based apps have ZERO consistency, are ugly, and have a disgusting amount of menus with options scattered randomly about.

At least Qt apps do what I need them to do.
