Why are you not using the best value thermal compound on the market user?

Why are you not using the best value thermal compound on the market user?
As good as if not better than MX-4 in thermals. Has the best viscosity of any paste.
Costs less than $6 for a 30g syringe or tub.

I've seen this ad on Jow Forums before.

>$6 for a tub.
That must be one hell of a shitty brand, if it costs $6 for a tub instead of a tube.

$6 for a tub or tube. It's not shitty at all. Go watch the review from Tech Yes City or others.

>$6 for a tub of heat sink compound
>A tub
Do you know how big a tub is?

As big as it needs to be.

How's HY880? Also, according to some russian benchmarks HY880 performs worse than HY810?

Who the hell needs a tub of low-grade heat sink compound when the best ones cost $12 CAN for a syringe? I could probably get better results from using Vaseline on my Ryzen.

For a 1g/3g/5g syringe? A small bottle or large syringe of GD900 is 30g and costs much less than $12

You can get 30g of it in a syringe for less that 6 bucks. But go ahead and buy 1g of Kryonaut for $10

How's arctic silver 5?

>Not knowing the price difference between CAN and USD
>Doesn't realize that $6 for a tub of low-grade heat transfer compound doesn't make it high quality

Shit. Might as well buy MX-4.

I use Cooler Master because they actually have 30g syringes for $12 CAN, with the right viscosity and decent heat transfer, unlike $6 of low-quality OP shit.

Also, who the hell needs 30g of it unless they actually have a job in building desktops and servers? Certainly not OP.

>HY880 literally worse than HY810 and HY510
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I bought the triple 15g pack from AliExpress a couple of weeks ago replaced both my GPU and CPU paste and didn't noticed a lot of difference. Let's see how long it lasts before shitting itself.

What paste did you use previously?

This one.

do any of you know what kind of paste amd pre-applies to their stock coolers?

Shinetsu stuff

Probably the lowest cost shit out there.

I prefer the best one - Gelid GC-Extreme TC-GC03.

so would you recommend replacing it? Its for my first build with a 2600x that I dont plan to OC.

>Bought HY510 for like 1/5 of the price of MX4
>a whole 3% worse performance
Why do you enjoy being jewed, Jow Forums?

its not as good as [name brands] but its good enough really, unless you want MAX OVERCOCKING 9900K PASTE you are perfectly good w/ this cheap paste (ideal for mass application if you run a pc building Business)

>thermal compound
I prefer thermal butter tbqh

For me, it's thermal mayo

>haven't changed thermal compounds in the last 2 years

nigga fuck off with your placebo shit

>not delidding and directly jizzing on the die

No problem with stock paste. Shinetsu stuff are fine.
