You should under no circumstances install a tiling window manager, anime wallpaper and screenfetch.

Dont forget to crash xorg.conf

>what should I NOT do
Installing Arch
I use Arch, btw
Dude, trust me

LMAO, if I do that I would be a normie x) should just go with ubuntu

>Installing Arch
why though?

Do not follow the install guide without thinking. Question everything you're supposed to do and do it once you understand.

Don't go and install packages thinking it will solve shit, Remember how you setup-ed things, like there are like 6 utilities for wifi, pick one and remember how you got it work for later.
read the site once in a while, don't ignore it.

>what should I NOT do when installing arch?
Do not under any circumstances run around the house naked, chasing your mom like youre gonna hump her

BSPWM helps me feel more productive when programming because it is a lot easier to have multiple files open at a time since there are so many desktops

>what should I NOT do when installing arch?
dont install Arch

a non meme response

use only the wiki, do not use youtube videos and you should be fine.

Spend lot of time for install linux with arch , just use opensuse, Ubuntu, debian work out of the box.

you still have the possibility to back off and install gentoo

>wifi
Kill yourself

don't
install Kubuntu

reminder to never install shit from the AUR

>what are the things I must know?
Just follow the installation guide and you'll be fine
>how can I make the security better?
There's a hardening guide in the wiki. You probably won't need it. Most of it can be done after the installation

>what should I NOT do when installing arch?
see wiki
>what are the things I must know?
see wiki
>how can I make the security better?
see wiki

>AUR

Correctly pronounced "AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!", the AUR is a steaming, festering shitheap of a security hole and a pile of shit. The AUR is the perfect example of everything that's wrong with Arch users.

Do not forget to take notes in a .txt file

Every package you install, every config you edit

You'll thank yourself in a year or two
