Don't go and install packages thinking it will solve shit, Remember how you setup-ed things, like there are like 6 utilities for wifi, pick one and remember how you got it work for later.

BSPWM helps me feel more productive when programming because it is a lot easier to have multiple files open at a time since there are so many desktops

Spend lot of time for install linux with arch , just use opensuse, Ubuntu, debian work out of the box.
