What software do you use for image viewing?

I meant that XnView supports over 500 image formats like FLIF, HEIF, BPG, JPEG-XR, etc., so need it sometimes.

imv or feh. i just use anything that does what an image viewer should do... view images with no extra features

Adobe Lightroom

If I have a handy open terminal, I most often use imagemagick's display. Otherwise, whatever viewer $CURRENT_DISTRO made default. There's all pretty good. Don't really have a favorite.
digikam is the best photo album manager tho.

feh in x and fim on tty. i just learned about 'green' the pdf viewer so now i only startx when i need javascript. if and when elinks js support shapes up i'll uninstall x and be an mplayer/fim guy.

Guys, install nomacs Its fast, it can let you zoom in to the pixel level, it can play gifs, and it can even do some basic image editing.

I give my grandpa a floppy with the file who then kindly prints out the image using his windows 98 machine
