First for /dpt/ is a trans thread.
there are 3 new threads
Anime thread is always the real thread.
excellent
there's only one legitimate thread, and it's this one
>make up schedule
>write down all the things I want to get done
>write down things I want to turn into habits
>still procrastinate
it can't be done
Don't cry cutie
Jump straight to the gun part. Kill urself.
nice socks dude
Have you at least taken your hormones, user? Your transition is the one thing you can't procrastinate on!
>newfag Jow Forums leaks hating on transgenders on /dpt/
You have any idea where you are, you assweeds?
wtf, I thought haskell was only used by monster tiddy loving Chads
Holy fuck that cringe image in the OP.
fuck off to /lgbt/ or take your dumb baits to Jow Forums
The best monster tiddies are the ones attached to your own body, user.
>let me try to fit in by posting some random anime picture straight out of google while I shitpost against a board I know nothing about's established culture
tiddy monster (dick) loving chads
nice try, but talking about your little tranny experiences has never been part of this board culture. again, fuck off to your containment board.
Imagine being triggered by somebody else's existence so hard you have to frenetically tell her to kill herself.
You fuck off to yours, nigger:
newfag
I identify as nigger. I didn't do anything, you racist mf.
>her
Imagine being triggered by somebody else's opinion you have to frenetically tell them to
>tranny experiences has never been part of this board culture
Jow Forums was trannies before being trannies was cool, like the hipster user is
>I identify as
I identify as a T-34 with ailed wings.
stop confusing traps and trannies
The thread I posted this was dead yay
>Since I'll probably never get a girlfriend without targeting gold diggers I'm thinking about making a more sophisticated version of ELIZA based on psychotherapy training videos. This should be enough to fullfil my already low needs of human interactions since I have no interest in advanced things like sex anyway
Good point. I misspoke. Cute traps, no trannies.
What's the difference, faggot?
um hello, I'm here for programming
k
One is a cute girl (dick) the other is a disgusting man in womans clothes
trannies are disgusting, traps are a (funny) meme
Post code then faggot
Well, what are you programming, user?
Both are disgusting men in woman's clothes, dumb faggots.
programming nothing so I can't post anything
great thread guys, keep it up
What language should I learn if I hate indians?
Your opinion is valid. It's wrong, but valid. Traps meme was invented to ward off normies. It was highly effective.
haskell
They are everywhere, it's over
Ada
>begin
>end
Damn, I hope she's drinking hot chocolate.
Also nice image user, cute.
Best part of the image is that she's reading a Haskell's book wearing a comfy blanket
I'm working on a rocket trajectory simulator right now. Using a Kalman filter and a simulated noisy accellerometer and gyro. Also have slighty off GPS fed to my simulator. It's fun, I am writing all of the code is free from dynamic memory.
Ive already had success with using a quadcopter as a base for testing my filtering and simulation in real life.
honestly this setting would be real nice irl but it n e v e r f u c k i n g h a p p e n s

Can you actually earn money with Haskell? The last time I checked(~5 years ago), it was not possible.
why? what cunt do you live in?
Or are you never prepared enough?
Also reading a programming book without computer to program on is kinda meh.
Its impossible to make money doing anything but scamming people or providing basic services.
I will fucking burn you alive.
Take notes. Write the code on paper and memorize it.
if your question is
>are there people who get paid to write haskell
yes, even outside academia, for over a decade now
>is it easy for just any pleb to get a haskell junior position anywhere?
not really
>Write the code on paper and memorize it.
that's dumb, you can't typecheck on paper, and you'd just memorize mistakes
If you're required to write code yourself you're still underpaid
>you can't typecheck on paper
>you'd just memorize mistakes
Mistakes are easy to remember and catching them early is better than later. Take the assignment, your notes and then write the program. See where your understanding was wrong earlier.

Remember when in English class, before spellcheck, having to get a Dictionary and look up your word. Was that memorizing mistakes?
How about selling support/maintenance to the corporate users of my open source library?

nth for el goblino
typechecking or "syntaxchecking" isn't remotely similar to looking up words in the dictionary, let alone verifying if the program is actually correct.
I remember, before spellcheck, in elementary school we'd get dictations or written assignments and even after proof-reading what I wrote, (sometimes with the grammar book at hand) I was convinced everything was correct before handing it to the teacher. It obviously wasn't.
>catching them early
yes that's what writing code directly into the repl does
instead you're proposing to write everything on paper, and then later write it again on your computer to check if it's correct?
I don't think _learning_ to program without a computer is a good idea. Testing your knowledge? Sure. But learning, especially when you're a beginner, not really. But that's just my opinion.
>text both yous to me
I think that learning the broad concept, a chapter or a part of a chapter, and understanding it without the distraction of compiling and copying code letter for letter. If you mess up after trying to type a complete function or assignment you can then see where your previous ideas were correct and what was just typos, because instead of just copying the code verbatim you can close the book and use you notes and memory, maybe even search google.
idk, I think exploring/modifying/tweaking/playing with the example code mandatory, especially if while you're reading you have an interrogation or a corner case in mind you're curious about. And then you have exercises...
then again, I'm not someone who ever looked back at the notes I took
biribiri is cute
Thank you for posting an anime image.
Bump?
too sleepy to do work
to conscious about another wasted day to sleep
Why are there so many trans programmers?
they've lost all control of their lives so controlling a computer makes them feel fulfilled
wait wrong thread
learn to use a profiler to identify bottlenecks
Perhaps neovaginas give significant boost to cognitive abilities
because they can then get a diversity spot and do absolutely nothing aside from correcting typos and """problematic""" language in readmes/documentation, wouldn't work if you were a welder, sewers worker, oil rig worker or anything like that
Is there a way to print to the console in C without using the standard library?
Imagine not being able to show the code of a function when you run help(func) in the repl.
def ls():
'''pp(sorted(globals().keys()))'''
exec(ls.__doc__)
inline assembly + write syscall
>pythonista discovers read eval print
What OS?
Preferably Mac and/or Linux
Well guys I did it. I made Lisp in 400 lines of my toy syslang.
It says pthread_spin_unlock is the function with the highest % time. What is that? I've never heard of it.
I saw a 5000 line method today. It was a glorious mess
that's just eval tho
python is terrible but i'd expect a lisper to know better
Kys degenerate loser
now the profiler is slowing my game down even more
how the fuck do I turn it off
Do we like python here? What frameworks/tools would make my python programming easier and faster?
getting back a readable expression is the essence of print

static inline long syscall(long n, long a1, long a2, long a3) {
unsigned long ret;
__asm__ __volatile__ ("syscall" : "=a"(ret) : "a"(n), "D"(a1), "S"(a2), "d"(a3) : "rcx", "r11", "memory");
return ret;
}
#define print_literal(s) syscall(1, 1, (long)s, sizeof(s))
#define exit(i) syscall(60, i, 0, 0)
void _start() {
print_literal("Literal string\n");
exit(3);
}
no, a repl is an interactive shell that does the following:
read a string from user input
eval the string as a program
print the results of that program
loop back to the beginning and repeat
I made this image. I also made /cyb/+/sec/'s OP image. i'm basically the lord of Jow Forums
what the fuck is a biribiri! ?
the original was an ad for a university's anime club
no it's me, Anonymous, who made this image
I also made every intel vs amd OP
that is what a repl is in general, I'm talking about the (lisp-specific) understanding of the functions read, eval and print
I know, but what the fuck is a biribiri? A messaging app?
Nevermind I just realized that's nickname from the To Aru Majutsu no Index girl.
I've never heard anything bad about Kotlin?
What do its critics say?
kot means crap in german
