Firefox is more botnet than Opera

Opera uses Yandex and Phishtank to protect you from malicious sites
Firefox uses Google's Safe Browsing

Really makes ya think, huh?

just because you turned it off in your settings doesn't mean it's not turned on in everyone else's who uses firefox

most people want a 'safe browsing' feature enabled on their browser
Firefox uses Google
Opera uses Yandex and Phishtank

stop defending Googlefox

Avoid opera
Prefer firefox
Don't google
Really makes you think, doughnut?

Google safe browsing should be more aware with the public

Firefox's block lists are provided by disconnect.

>Really makes ya think, huh?
Think about killing your retarded memespamming ass back to Jow Forums will ya.

proofs?

It says so in settings right beside the checkbox.

no it doesn't

>doesn't mean it's not turned on in everyone else's who uses firefox
The dumbasses who don't turn it off deserve what they get.

>stop defending Googlefox
Never did such a thing.

Yes, it does.

that's that new tracker blocking thing (which if you use uBO is pointless)

I'm talkign about the SafeBrwosing feature to protect against malicious sites
Firefox uses Google's SafeBrowsing technology to do that (sends a list of every website you visit to Google every 30 minutes)

Opera uses Yandex and Phishtank for it instead

>that's that new tracker blocking thing (which if you use uBO is pointless)
Which is what the other user was talking about.
>Firefox's block lists are provided by disconnect.

>I'm talkign about the SafeBrwosing feature to protect against malicious sites
Which you can disable via about:config or user.js, I left the prefs up there earlier.

>using a browser named after an obese black womyn

Is Brave any good, or did I make a mistake switching to it instead of Opera coming from Firefox?

Where's the source code for Opera?

Yes you made mistier when you decided to leave Firefox for botnet, use privacytools.io fix some shit and you good. Don't listen to brave shills, their argument is so retarded that no one even try to argue with it anymore.

Brave is recommended by privacytools.io as well you fucking shill

Is there a non-botnet browser?

no, but you can pick which botnet you use

>Chrome
Google botnet
>Firefox
Google botnet
>Opera
Chinese botnet, Yandex botnet, Phishtank botnet
>Brave
Eich botnet
>Edge
Microsoft botnet, Newsguard botnet

don't listen to this faggot. There are plenty of non-botnet browsers. You can use iridium, icecat, ungoogled chromium, pale moon, and even firefox can be modified to respect your privacy, although it's not reccomended

Too bad Opera went to shit half a decade ago

your position is fundamentally retarded, and you are the quintessential dumbfaggot. opera phones home in ways that you absolutely cannot modify or disable. with firefox you can disable *all* phoning home, safe browsing, and any other telemetry. with opera (and most chromium-based browsers), you simply cannot.

tldr: OP is a fag

>>just because you turned it off in your settings doesn't mean it's not turned on in everyone else's who uses firefox
How does that matter to me in the slightest? Other people mainline krokodile too, which is also not my problem. If I found it in me to give a shit every time anybody did something retarded, it would consume my entire life.

Dissenter

Opera is a non-free software (closed source) making it a very untrustworthy chinese botnet. Firefox is free software where you can add or remove parts according to your needs. This means you can remove the google search engine entry and other things and rebuild it (see waterfox). This is not possible with opera, it will always a chinese/russian botnet.

do people here still think that using schizo browsers will free them of the botnet?

listen faggots, no browse is safe brom botnet.
its either using one of the most popular ones, or go full richard stallman mode
