seems like silverblue is more focused on snapshots and stability while nixos is more focused on reproducing the system from the configuration.nix file. it's pretty cool for virtualization or if you wanted to have a few machines with all the same running services and packages. nix very likely has more packages because it's been around longer, also. strongly recommend giving both a shot.
