I'm proud of the fact that whenever I find a solution for something on my own that I couldn't find anywhere else, no matter how niche the problem might be, I always make a long summarization of that fix on a public forum somewhere in the hopes that someone someday might need that fix.

I hate forum culture. This site has its issues but it's not as bad as what those places cultivate. It's just a bunch of people posting inane replies to boost their post count. Then they get a cult following and end up driving the forum's discussions. Someone deleted their popular forum because they couldn't get away from the groupthink and popularity garbage.

Why even make people register for your forum? It doesn't even mean anything. You just inflate the forum user number but have no activity because people leave as soon as they join. I feel bad for whatever sad fuck dedicates his life to some obscure forum. Pathetic.
