holy fuck numbers on a graph

The xfx thiccboi?

My computer is 10 years old, as soon as the 5700xt aibs go live I'm building a new one. Prob going sapphire because of their reputation.

THICC BOI is the winner.

This pleases me.

>comparative and absolute values on the same chart are bad
you a caveman?

Power draw is the only data point that matters.
This is why the gt 210 is the best card.

>Read Sapphire Pulse review
>All games that I actually play perform on pair with 5700 xt on a fucking cheaper 2060S
I've also started noticing a pattern. If your reviewer uses obscure 100 players on steam during 24-hours peak games like Strange Brigade that review is an absolutely worthless shill marketing. Even worse if they use those laughable "AMD supported" titles to round up numbers in average performance per dollar.

Nice source for your utter larp
Sapphire is as every 5% faster than stock, has bios flash option which is handy and few okay features, cooling is great
stop the cringe ty

Haha oh wow, what games, user?

>Asus = housefire
it's under 70'C, not sure it's worth asus tax when pulse performs only 1 fps lower it's at 72-73'C though

check if it got coil whine or not, it's a big deal

Is the 5700XT a worthy upgrade from my msi gaming 8g 1080?

>All games that I actually play perform on pair with 5700 xt on a fucking cheaper 2060S
what? 5700xt perform better than 2060S in all games though, all of them
also 2060S is more expensive than 6700xt here for 90% of aibs, other 10% you do not want to touch with a stick

depends on for how much u can sell ur 1080 for

no. 1080 and 1080ti owners can skip upgrades for another 2 years

>can afford a $500+ card
>can't afford $10/mo extra electrical fees

Attached: images (7).jpg (225x225, 6K)

I've never sold anything I've own on ebay before
Nvidia is already slowing down the 10 series via drivers

Wait, where are the Ayysus & XFX reviews?
All I've seen is Sapphire's Pulse being justifiably pricier (Albeit negligibly so) than the referefence design.
>tfw no AIB versions available here

>tfw sapphire pulse is too tall to fit into case and the rest are too thick
I'm waiting for the msi reviews and the ASRock challenger.

Do you have some proof? I haven't seen a degradation in performance from my 1070 in the last 2 years, all my games still hit my refresh rate at 60 fps.

When are these niggers finally going to release? I need a new card

i need a new card.. either this or 2070 super

ill probably pay the 100 more to avoid the issues amd cards always have especially on release day games

That's literally impossible though, presuming he's a burger.
12c/kwh for electricity is the average there
30 watts difference vs the 2070 super means it will take 33(.3333 but lets just say 33) hours to consume 1kwh extra. So $10 requires 2750 hours at that extra load, which is over 100 days.
There's less than 100 days in a month

16th worldwide availability or so they say

1080 is performing below 2070 now it was ahead first several months from recent graphs

since I actually owned AMD card let me tell you there are no new game issues for 99% of cases same as nvidia, it's not 2007 anymore
you people rave about amd driver issues when nvidia had to hot fix half drivers released last 7 months, I know that because also got a 1070

Hmm yeah to be fair I heard it isnt 2007 anymore when i bough an amd card in 2011. It wasnt too bad but there were niggling issues

might get a 5700 and then go back to nvidia when ray tracing is more mature?

im a bit clueless.. can the 5700 do ray tracing as well as the rtx cards?

rtx can do it only on paper and in 3 games
one game got reflections other got shadows and that game got global illumination
never at the same time and it already pushes everything that isn't 2080ti under 60fps at 1440

5700 XT is faster in literally every single game on this planet compared to 2060S. 5700 is slightly slower on average but is also 50+ cheaper (at least in Europe).

Cope.

What now? How about buying a reference 5700xt and put a accelero xtreme IV on it?

>Sapphire = slower than og 5700 XT
How? Isn't it slightly overclocked?

Novideo scum

GN graphs, which only proves 5fps difference is not a difference at all and all is margin of error in 90% of games with random events like leafs, weather etc in games

>Shadow of the Tomb Raider
>Battlefield 5
>Metro Exodus
All look fine as is without RTX implementations, but yes, they all only implement RTX minimalistically, and I couldn't imagine how shit they'd run with more RTX technologies implemented.

By the time it's viable to run real-time ray tracing settings/technologies in video games, RTX 2000 series will probably be obsolete.

>XFX = glorious winner
link the review if its out, i cant find it

expreview.com/69809.html

>non-thicc
damn what's the point

Has anyone here tested Asrock's 5700XT? How does it fare against the others?

can you buy them? according to rx590 reviews which are hot as hell, ASRock does fine on both sound and thermals.

>furfag on box
Fucking dropped

Is there reviews of the thicc?
I want it even if it's worse than the original board and more expensive

>there's no difference between saving up money for an expensive product and losing $10 of monthly income for electrical fees that could've been spent on more useful things
brainlet

look like the grille of a damn muscle car

Has the 1080 actually regressed in performance, or has the 2070 simply improved?

>>Sapphire = slower than og 5700 XT
source?
>100 players on steam during 24-hours peak games
lol
>All games that I actually play perform on pair with 5700 xt on a fucking cheaper 2060S
lol.
what, morrowind? starcraft 2? not even CSGO can claim this stupidity.

Got a better looking card.

Attached: MSI-Radeon-RX-5700-EVOKE-5.jpg (800x600, 197K)

>we want the sapphire audience
heh

Shitty cooling for VRam that uses >2w per chip and is notorious for dying due to heat (see early RTX cards). Wouldnt buy it.

>overclocks draw more power

I don't speak Turkish, can you translate?

1% faster

Any price on the XTra THICC yet?

Attached: extra thicc aku.jpg (480x360, 15K)

it's bad, sapphire got a better card

When are they going to be up for sale?

Got a link?

computerbase.de/2019-08/xfx-radeon-rx-5700-xt-thicc2-test/2/
uh oh, apparently THICC is a piece of shit

So whats the verdict?

2070S or Sapphire 5700XT

Attached: 1448490919379.jpg (1023x682, 130K)

computerbase.de/2019-08/xfx-radeon-rx-5700-xt-thicc2-test/

in games I play 2070S is like 2-3 fps higher
so i'm going for 5700xt

Since no one actually uses RTX, the 5700XT is the better option since you can use the extra $100 to bump the CPU.
5700XT + stronger CPU > 2700S + weaker CPU

Well thats a real shame. Guess im going with the sapphire card

So nothing have changed? What about ASRock and others?
Actually, that graph is fucked up, OCd 2070S draws more power than stock

computerbase.de/2019-08/sapphire-radeon-rx-5700-xt-pulse-test/
>449€ for the 5700xt pulse
>5700xt reference + accelero extreme IV 400€
what is even the point?

Why are there so many triple slot NAVIs?

gamersnexus mentioned nvidia releasing drivers to slow down 10 series cards and were called out on it

because there is so many triple slot RTXs? they are finally giving proper cooling to video cards

LMAO @ these gymnastics go fuck yourself retard

review?

AMD should deny vendors increasing default powerlimit. That's fucking retarded. They make 300W housefires from a 180W card that don't even give any extra performance but spawn ayymd housefire memes.

>better than 2070s for 150$ cheaper

Attached: untitled-1.png (713x909, 54K)

>+ accelero extreme IV
the thing is $65. it's $55 above sapphire card.

asus is within original spec at gaming though, furmark numbers don't really count
but yeah, retards parrot them anyway

Holy fuck I thought it was just me, bought a 5700 xt to get the same perf I got with a 1070 two years ago

u wot m8?
>5700xt from amd is 365€
>accelero xtreme IV from mindfactory is 46€

xt from amd is 365€
what? did you forget VAT?

>Just pay, goyim!

Have you ever used an accelero? they're as heavy as shit. Dont get me wrong, they' re fucking amazing cooling with practically no audibility, but they're heavy as shit and I am of the opinion that it's what caused the eventual failure of my 5870 not all that long after I changed cases to one that didn't physically support the cooler (supported by coincidence, not by design).

That's because it's a muscle gpu

The verdict is: there's STILL nothing better than GTX 1060 3GB

omg these fuckers list their prices without vat.

do americans actually pay $300 to take home a 5700?

it's like $600 if you exchange the final price of buying it in the UK back to $.

Go powercolor my nigga. The red devil 56 and 64 were excellent

>In a single game
I agree that 5700 XT is almost as fast as 2070 super and being $150 cheaper, having more stable drivers and nicer feature set makes it a better card, but please stop with the cherrypicking.

essentially when it comes to averages they are the same card within margin of error except some older games like gta5 and tw3

nah 2070 super is still faster, like -2% to +10% I would say.

that's margin of error at 100+fps ranges
it comes down to less than 0.03ms

> $100 more for the same performance doesn't matter
t. Satan

Have we seen their offerings yet? I know they're a solid partner brand.

not worth it where i live
